Legoland Malaysia Resort Hotel

We had an enjoyable stay at Legoland Resort Hotel earlier this month.  It was an unforgettable experience for the kids.  The expression that Emmett has once we walk into the lobby was priceless, you can see it in the video below.

The official checkin time for the hotel is at 4pm and checkout at 11am, what?!
Lucky for us, we were able to checkin around 1pm that day, thanks to the wonderful staff at the reception counter.

So, here's our Kingdom Theme room on the 3rd floor of the hotel.
The room.. 2 tv 📺, one in the king size room and other at the bunk beds area.

The Beds, king size bed and bunk beds with 3 mattress.

The washroom, with 2 separate sinks, 1 for adults and 1 for the kids, a lower set.

The swimming pools, on Level 5.

Breakfast at The Brick Family Restaurant.

But what the kids like most about this hotel is the lobby area, lots of lego to play with, Eugene and Emmett spent hours there.

Here's our video, what to expect in Legoland Malaysia resort Hotel.

Gelang Patah, JB

During our recent visit to JB, we went to Gelang Patah town, twice; one time for lunch, another for dinner.

Gelang Patah is juat about 10 minutes drive from Legoland Hotel, we took Uber, which cost us around RM8-RM12 per way.

This is where we had our meal..

For lunch we had mix BBQ Rice RM16 for 2 person and char kuey teow (RM6).  We were they about 1pm and the wantan mee stall is already close, so I tapao the wantan from a kopitiam few doors away on the same raw.

For dinner we had, chicken ayam, fried chicken (RM3.50), Char Kueh trow (RM6.50) and kolo mee (RM5)

Overall I think the day time stall taste so much better than the night stalls.  But overall, the food taste good and the price are reasonable.

Our food..

We finally make time to bring the kids to Legoland, Johor.  We went on Sunday, not too many people on that day, and Thank God the weather is good too, not too hot coz its a bit hazy on that day.

We reach the entrance about 9.20am, at 9.30am the gate is open for the Lego Hotel customer, others have to wait until 10am (haiya, I didn't know that the Lego Hotel has this privilege!)

Shopping in Legoland Johor

Best gak barang kesukaan anak-anak kat Legoland ni.  Kedai banyak, option pun boleh tahan.  Kami pun tak ketinggalan membeli sedikit untuk kenangan.

Here's our shopping list in sequence order:
Lego Star Wars | bought a glow-in-the-dark shirt there.

Adventurer Depot | bought 2 Chima t-shirts there.

Ninjago city stage | bought a Ninjago fire there.

Brick shop | great for loose bricks.

Big shop | bought Lego City here.  Toys here are almost similar to those in Toys R Us, but more option in Legoland.  Price are the same, if you have a Toys R Us member card, its better to buy at Toys R Us.

The next day we went to Toys R Us in Aeon Bukit Indah Mall, this time we get more Legos - Ninjago, Airjitzu Wrayth, and another Lego City.  We make use of the kids birthday month special offer there.
Trip kali ni betul-betul la acara untuk anak-anak jer.

Princeton Hotel, Johor

Our initial plan was to stay at Granada Hotel.  We leave our booking to the very last minute, less than 1 week before the trip to be exact.  We thought that the price will not be much different since it is not during school holiday anyway.  Boy, we were wrong.  Only limited rooms were available, and huge price different than earlier.  We decided not to pay additional amount in a hotel that has neither a swimming pool nor a bathtub.

Legoland hotel also having the renovation work to their swimming pool during the time. * Notice:
We regret to inform you that our hotel swimming pool is closed for renovation from 1st to 17th September 2015. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Source: http://www.legoland.com.my/Hotel/

Too lazy to do anymore research, we decided to book a room where nearest to Granada Hotel, hence the Princeton Hotel.

So this is a family room in Priceton Hotel.  At 1st they gave us a room without window. Gosh, I immediately requested for another room, luckily we were moved to this room with a huge window.

This hotel has all the basic things we need.  We didn't expect much also, as long as it's clean and convenience.

All in all, we had a good stay there.

Pontian Wanton Noodle, Bukit Indah, Johor | Visit #1

1st thing that I did after landed at Senai Airport, was went to look for wanton noodle.

I've done my research beforehand and found out that 1 of the Pontian Wanton Noodle branch is located just a few steps from Princeton Hotel, Bukit Indah.
went to have my early lunch there, hubby n the kids stayed in the room coz they already had their meal in the flight, I am saving for Wanton mee.

So, I ordered a medium size Wanton noodle, cost RM6.50.  Very generous portion, I can hardly finish it.  The noodle is more to sweet side.  Not the best that I have tasted but enough to make my happy :)

I also ordered this bowl of Barley gingko nut soup, cost RM4.50.
See how it looks on the menu and how it actually looks on the table.  Taste wise, not bad.

All price exclude of GST.

Wantan Mee @ Ho Seng Kee, JB

Heard lots of great review about the Wantan Noodle in this Restaurant.
It is also 1 of the main reason why we choose to stay at 11@Century Hotel.

However we only manage to try the noodles on our last day in Johor; since our room include breakfast, every morning we were to full to have anything else.  On the last day I make sure I didn't eat too much at the hotel.  So here we go..

The wantan mee here is a bit different from the other places that I've tried.  There's no dark soya sauce in the noodle.  You can choose between spicy or plain noodle, I asked for a separate sauce just to give it a try.  The sauce is really really spicy (for me standard).  Luckily I choose the plain noodle.

The noodle is made fresh everyday,  the texture is soft and smooth.
The soup is so tasty, a bit of abalone taste.
Writing on this post make me feel like flying over to JB to have a bowl this wantan mee now.
