Community Trainings

Family Paths sponsors community trainings free of charge to those in Alameda County who work with, or on behalf of, Alameda County Foster Youth and Families. Our trainings are developed to help those in the mental health or related fields have the latest information on topics relevant to supporting vulnerable children, youth and families impacted by traumatic events and life circumstances. All of our trainings emphasize the importance of culturally responsive practice and the complexities that children and families in the foster care system face, as well as helping children and families at risk of system involvement.

To attend any training, you MUST first register by clicking the appropriate Eventbrite link below or by emailing [email protected]. Unless otherwise noted, trainings are held on Zoom. A link for Zoom trainings will be emailed to you 48 hours before the training begins so you must register.

Trainings and workshops are free and open to those who work with foster children and youth in Alameda County.
Family Paths (CEU Provider #62239) provides trainings and workshops in conjunction with Chabot-Las Positas Community College District and Alameda County through Title IV-E Funding.
