On January 22nd, 24th, 2024, we published two articles which alleged that the singer, Jackson Browne, had exhibited abusive behaviour against his first wife, Phyllis Major (now deceased), as well as two other partners, Darryl Hannah and Joni Mitchell. These allegations were false and the articles have therefore been removed.

We understand that Mr Browne had a cordial relationship with Joni Mitchell after the end of their relationship and has consistently denied any abuse against Darryl Hannah. That position was corroborated by third parties, including the Santa Monica Police Department, who investigated allegations at the time, and which is a matter of public record.
