Terry Crews is an American actor, television host, and amazing artist. Born on July 30, 1968, in Flint Michigan, Terry Crews is most notably known for hosting America’s Got Talent and as Sergeant Terry Jeffords in the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

The 54-year-old actor is loved all around the globe for his movies and shows. His most famous movies are White Chicks (2004), The Expendable series, Draft Day (2014), and Deadpool (2018). He is also known as a women’s rights activist and an activist against sexism. Crews also openly talked about the abuse he suffered at the hands of his father and his pornography addiction.

Back in 2017, during the #MeToo movement, Terry Crews opened up about being groped by a producer during a party in 2016. He was awarded the Times Person of the Year for coming forward and speaking about the sexual harassment going on in Hollywood.

Despite his great filmography, fans mostly love him for his portrayal of Terry Jeffords in Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Jeffords is a family man with a beautiful wife, Sharon, and twin daughters – Cagney and Lacey. His character is extremely ripped and strong but struggles with food and is forced by Jake Peralta to do his bidding, which he secretly loves. The “Sarge” who everyone has come to know and love has a past that isn’t spoken about quite often.

Yes, Terry Crews played in the NFL from 1991 to 1996. Terry Crews played college football at Western Michigan and was selected by the Los Angeles Rams in the 1991 NFL draft in the 11th round.

Crews played defensive end and linebacker during his short stint in the league. He played for the Rams in 6 games, then was traded to the Green Bay Packers where he didn’t got any playing time. From there, he played 10 games for the Los Angeles Chargers and 16 games for the Washington Commanders. Crews’ last team was the Philadelphia Eagles, but didn’t start any games for them.

Terry Crews retired in 1997. During his career, Crews made 3 tackles with 1 assist. Since he was a journeyman for almost eight years, he didn’t earn much from football. Crews used to make money by charging his teammates for portraits.
