Novak Djokovic breaking racket
It’s all happening in Monte Carlo Masters as number one seed Novak Djokovic lost his cool during the second set of his third-round encounter against Italian 16th seed Lorenzo Musetti. Djokovic is known for his unsportsmanlike behavior when he is losing. This became really evident when the Pro-Italian crowd cheered high for breaking the Serbian in the second set. Eventually, Musetti won the match -4-6,7-5,6-4.
Djokovic really struggled during the whole match since hit only one ace after hitting 6 double faults. Musetti capitalized on this and he looked in great touch from the second set. Musetti came to this match after double bageling his second-round opponent Luca Nardi while Djokovic struggled to get past his previous-round opponent, especially in the first set. The final score in Djokovic’s second-round win (after getting a first-round bye) against Ivan Gakhov was 7-6 (7-5), 6-2.
Djokovic’s forearm bandage has been a question mark already since he struggled on his service games clearly. Some of his fans are already speculating about a possible elbow injury for the Serbian but another section of fans are too optimistic and keep on believing for he to come back strong for future clay tournaments and a possible peak in the French Open.

What’s next for Novak Djokovic?
The Serbian World No.1 Novak Djokovic was the red-hot favorite in the Monte Carlo Masters after the withdrawal of the Spanish World No.2 Carlos Alcaraz and the living legend Rafael Nadal. This loss against Lorenzo Musetti was least expected by the fans considering the form and experience of the Serbian superstar. But the Italian had different plans for the day.
It is sure that the bandage around Novak Djokovic‘s left forearm will make a lot of headlines in the coming days. He has totally struggled with his service games. It is yet to be known how big the issue is. By considering the looks of it, it will not be surprising to see the Serbian skipping some tournaments before the French Open. He has already talked enough about his plans to peak in the Parisian clay.
With that being said, the Serbian’s ability to cope with tough situations is second to none and his fans expect a total comeback by their man in the very next tournament itself. If not at Barcelona, it will happen in Madrid or Rome – the optimistic fanbase never loses hope in their man.
