I might not be following your question, but the green wire going to the license plate lights is your 12v power wire, and would be switched by the running lights switch. The white/black would go direct to ground.

Got the @orangefj45 sag conversion kit installed this weekend with @roadstr6 help. Replaced the 60 steering box with an 80. Everything went well, the 80 box is a little longer so the metal shroud around the steering shaft needs to be clearanced...
