How’s it going Mudders!

Trying to save a buck and purchase a complete power steering pump from Toyota Parts Deal. Can someone chime in on what’s actually required. It appears that this is the part number/unit I require:

But then what’s this part:

Do I require both or any other parts to R&R and old tired pump?

Thanks in advance.

If you want help like this we need details of your vehicle. We don't have ESP.

You want the pump, O ring and probably high pressure hose. The pump is gear driven rather than belt, so it's a bit more difficult than your average PS pump job. Perhaps you know this already. Anyway, the gear and nut have to be removed from old pump to use on the new one. Or, more parts to buy new if you like.

Edit: Just the first part in your post, I believe. It's important to get the genuine Toyota pump. Several people have had problems with aftermarket pumps.
If you get the high pressure hose, it's OK to go aftermarket with that since the OEM part is so expensive.

Gotcha, so this:

And this:

The first part replaces the pump.
That's all you need to replace the pump itself.
The second part is intended to 'rebuild' your existing pump.
From experience, I recommend not bothering with rebuilding the pump.
Yes, it's doable.
No, there's no guarantee it will resolve the issues.
And given the pain in the d*** that it is (meaning the mess made with the fluid) to do anything with the power steering system, much less just the pump, new OEM is the way to go ALL DAY LONG.
Now, that said recommend replacing the hoses too - high-pressure and lo-pressure - at the same time.
Again, it's a pain the d*** to do it piece meal. (see previous)
Be sure the hi-pressure hose comes with the copper banjo bolt washer. (a single doodad with 2 washers connected) Gates brand is sufficient if you don't want to go OEM.
Lo-pressure hoses can be done with correct sized bulk hose from local auto parts joint.

Do you know if the
HIPower Steering pump HIGH PRESSURE HOSE will include the double gasket?

The one used with the banjo bolt?

I don’t recall to be honest. I don’t believe I bought it individually from the pump or the hose so?

IMO you should assume the high pressure PS hose will not come with the double crush washer/gasket. If you look at photos of aftermarket hoses
they show two copper washers/gaskets which can be used, just a bit more fiddly than using the OEM double crush washer/gasket.

If you want to use the double crush washer/gasket easier to just order it from your local Toyota dealer. In fact, order two as they cannot
be reused once they're crushed so if you mess up the hose installation on the first try you'll have a spare double gasket.

Check out these photos showing the high pressure hose and two separate washers/gaskets, FWIW

Here's a link to a good PS thread with photos, post #10 shows the double aluminum gasket
