Hi all,

I'm experiencing a weird issue with my MacBook Pro 16" while running Windows 10. Whenever I use apps with high GPU usage (i.e. games), my mouse cursor gets very laggy, almost to the point of being virtually unusable. Here's a GIF that attempts to show the issue (I am moving the mouse in circles around 2-4 revolutions per second): https://giphy.com/gifs/kDfNht54C8ZVWhshbX. Should I contact Apple about this issue (I already contacted them about a sound issue in Boot Camp, for which they told me to reinstall Windows, and this is a fresh copy installed today)? Has anyone else experienced this?

Thank you in advance 😊

Hi, it must be a graphics driver glitch... Maybe try to find an alternate AMD driver, official or not. Another idea is set the power scheme to high performance or ultimate performance and see if this changes anything. Finally, you could try my Trackpad++ driver, and maybe even join its discussion at https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/trackpad-alternate-trackpad-driver-for-bootcamp.1497761/page-25 But I strongly suspect its graphics driver issue, and therefore no trackpad driver alone may help to solve this.

Ive had to reinstall my windows bootcamp drivers before, make sure you have the windows support package from bootcamp on usb, go into file explorer, this pc (right click it) manage -> device manager and uninstall your dGPU, reboot and reinstall the Bootcamp setup.exe and report back.

I have the exact same issue with the same MacBook (i9, 16"), still not able to solve the issue. I think it might be T2 related as the trackpad also goes through it. Luckily mouse input is not affected...

Same Problem here.

I've tested with 4 mouse: 2 usb gaming mouse, 1 bluetooth mouse and touchpad.
When I open a medium 3d file, usb mouse becomes jumpy, lag, but blue toothmouse and touchpad still working fine. (smooth).
Then, i come back to macos and open the same 3d file (sketchup), all 4 mouses are ok.

So I think the problem was not GPU / CPU or any other specs.

Have you got the resolution yet ?
