Abington Heights High School students place 15th in national mock trial finals

LACKAWANNA CO, (WOLF) — Students from Abington Heights High School have placed 15th in the national mock trial finals.

After winning the PA Bar Association (PBA) Statewide High School Mock Trial Competition for the second year in a row, the team was sent to represent Pennsylvania on a national level, competing against 44,000 high school teams from across the entire United States.

The competition was held virtually from May 5th through May 7th.

This year, 247 teams from 203 high schools competed at the district and regional levels of Pennsylvania's mock trial competition in hopes of gaining one of the spots in the statewide competition. Pennsylvania’s competition is one of the largest in the nation.
