Man takes himself to hospital after being shot in Randallstown

Baltimore County police are investigating after a man was shot Monday night near the Liberty Plaza shopping center in Randallstown.

The victim, who was not identified by police, admitted himself to a local hospital around 8 p.m. He was suffering from a gunshot wound. Police later determined that the man had been shot in the 8700 block of Liberty Road. The Liberty Plaza shopping center includes several businesses including a Walmart and a Marshalls.

A spokeswoman for Walmart would not answer any questions about the incident. "I must refer you to law enforcement for information," she said.

Police refused to answer any questions about the incident, including whether the shooting took place outside the Walmart.
