Re-live some of the longest field goals in NFL history, including Justin Tucker's unreal game-winner

It’s been nearly 24 hours and we’re still in awe of that Justin Tucker boot that broke the NFL record for longest field goal, a 66-yarder that doinked off the crossbar and went through to give the Baltimore Ravens a last-second win.

Now that the record no longer belongs to Matt Prater — still kicking these days for the Arizona Cardinals — it’s a good time to relive some awesome kicks and remind ourselves how great it is to watch a place-kicker send one through the uprights from around midfield.

We’ll run through some of the longest boots we could find on YouTube and Twitter, starting with Tucker’s:

Justin Tucker, 2021 (66 yards)

What. A. Kick.

Matt Prater, 2013 (64 yards)

Brett Maher, 2019 (63 yards)

Sebastian Janikowski, 2011 (63 yards)

The former Raiders kicker had such an amazing leg. Back then, he tied the NFL record:

Graham Gano, 2018 (63 yards)

Like Tucker’s, it was a game-winner. This one was over the Giants:

Jason Elam, 1998 (63 yards)

Ah, remember John Elway in those uniforms? And Elam nailing this one against the Jaguars? How exciting was that?

Tom Dempsey, 1970 (63 yards)

The record that stood for nearly three decades until Elam came along. Another game-winner (with a 19-17 score no less!).

David Akers, 2012 (63 yards)

Another one that DOINKED.

Matt Prater, 2021 (62 yards)

Still got it. This happened just last week!

Brett Maher, 2018 and 2019 (62 yards each)

Stephen Gostkowski, 2017 (62 yards)

This one had room to go even longer!

Matt Bryant, 2006 (62 yards)

A game-winner with a terrific radio call.
