Meet Your Hosts
Nigel Pearce
Nigel Pearce, has been at Future for over 8 years having vast experience in the public performance and PR field along with Media Training, and is over 21 too!! Groove Britain is certainly one of the widest ranging programmes on radio today, and its range of guests reflects that. Nigel is the station’s Beatles expert, which is always handy as the fab four will always be with us! He is also the founder of the Splinter Legacy Project, and a book author too.
Alan Thompson
Alan Thompson, who says he is (well) over 21′, has been working in broadcasting for many years and is one of a handful of Brits to have first appeared professionally on US radio in 1972 on station WBZ and WOKW both in the Boston, MA area. He has since worked in both BBC and ILR networks including stints as a Programme Controller as well as a producer for Radio 2 Arts and Jazz . He says he ‘has a face for radio but has appeared in BBC-TV, ITV and Channel 4.
