New TV Spot For SCARY STORIES TO TELL IN THE DARK Highlights Sarah Bellows' Horror-Fueled Revenge
I’ve got a new TV spot for you to enjoy for producer Guillermo del Toro and director André Øvredal‘s film adaptation of the horror book series, Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark. This horror movie looks like it’s going to be a blast, and it’s PG-13 which means I’ll be able to drag my kids to it with me! They’re gonna love this.
The new TV spot features a few bits of new footage and it highlights Sarah Bellows’ nightmarish revenge on the small town of Mill Valley.
The film is set in 1968 in America, “Change is blowing in the wind...but seemingly far removed from the unrest in the cities is the small town of Mill Valley where for generations, the shadow of the Bellows family has loomed large. It is in their mansion on the edge of town that Sarah, a young girl with horrible secrets, turned her tortured life into a series of scary stories, written in a book that has transcended time—stories that have a way of becoming all too real for a group of teenagers who discover Sarah’s terrifying home."
Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark lands in theaters on August 9th.
