Much useful information presented. Practical pointers and precautions, yet the basic science is as well included to allow a more grounded understanding of the topic. The authors write with interest in their topics. The Kindle edition was even more useful on an iPad if you like to cross reference topics with more web info. The text itself has many useful images, tables, and algorithms. Some topics are covered in more than one area. Where that was the case I found cross references present and the coverage more reinforcing than redundant. Minus the preface, appendices, and index the total text is under 800 pages. It is a useful review, update, and compendium of the topic.
