I absolutely loved The Score by Kristen Proby, it is an incredible love at first sight love story. It is the third book in her Single in Seattle series. Once again Kristen Proby shows that she is an amazing storyteller. It was impossible to put The Score down and I loved every moment on every page. Who does not love hot sexy men, strong females, loving families, and friends, who always support one another? I really enjoy how the book is written in the first person from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting inside their minds and knowing their thoughts and how they really feel. The Score is a love at first sight love story and is filled with heartbreaking and heartwarming moments. I love the lighter moments where I find myself smiling and laughing out loud. My favorite moments are the ones that pull at my heartstrings that cause me to sigh, as I read the heartbreaking moments. The Score is filled with such moments, and with so much emotion. It is filled with all those things that we have come to love and expect in a love story, Kristen Proby did not disappoint, especially with the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. The Score is the story of Isaiah “Ike” Harrison, professional football quarterback and Sophie Montgomery nutrition coach and social media influencer. Sophie and Ike meet when they are each out for a morning run and Ike knocks Sophie to the ground as he was running. They meet again the same day at her Uncle Will’s house. It is then that Sophie realizes that he is the quarterback for the Seattle football team. They are immediately attracted to one another. I love the sizzling chemistry between Sophie and Ike. Things quickly heat up between the two of them as they spend time together. I love their competitive nature with one another, especially the pinball competition. I love the easy banter of the conversations between Sophie and Ike that flows so easily, I love that both Sophie and Ike share secrets with one another that they have not shared with anyone, especially the one that Ike shares about his family and Sophie shares about her friend, Steph. I love all the heart-to-heart conversations that happen between the characters in The Score. As Sophie and Ike spend time together, things continue to change between them, and they both admit their true feelings for one another. I love how Sophie encouraged Ike to adopt Buster and the statement that she made to him about Buster. I love Buster. I loved that The Score is more than just a romance, there are dilemmas that both Sophie and Ike are facing that need to be resolved and the plot twist that threatens their relationship. I love that there were multiple storylines: Ike’s contract negotiations, Ike’s relationship with his father, Sophie’s overwhelming family, but most importantly Sophie and Ike’s love story. I love how all the storylines get so beautifully resolved. I love the ending of the love story, and how both Sophie and Ike change because of their love for one another. I love how Ike listens to Sophie’s dreams and everything he does to make them come true. My favorite part is the epilogue and how it goes beyond a happily ever after. The Score is filled with poignant and bittersweet moments as well as plot twists that I have come to love and expect in a Kristin Proby love story. I love all the support that Sophie gets from her family and all the characters and the family dynamic in The Score the characters feel like family and friends. I enjoyed all the interactions between the cousins, it feels like real family love and makes me laugh at their teasing. Who does not love family and friends that always have each other’s backs? I loved all the characters in The Score, and I am looking forward to reading the other books in this series. I love the bonus epilogue for The Score that is told from Sophie’s Dad, Ike’s perspective. I thoroughly enjoyed The Score, who does not love a love at first sight love story. Highly recommend this incredible love story.
