Saving Grace (Love Under the Big Sky Book 4) Kindle Edition

4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars 1,975 ratings

Sparks fly like snowflakes when a klutzy but gorgeous novice crosses skis with a hot resort owner in this tempting tie-in to New York Times bestselling author Kristen Proby’s popular Love Under the Big Sky series!

Grace Douglas is on a practice run for her friend Cara Donovan’s bachelorette party ski weekend in Aspen. The problem is, despite living in rugged and picturesque Cunningham Falls, Montana, Grace is the clumsiest person ever born. To prepare for the trip, she is taking lessons at a local ski resort. She just prays that they have an ambulance on standby.

Sexy hotelier Jacob Berkley is ready to play ski instructor, but he quickly discovers that the best place on the mountain for Grace is in the lodge with a hot toddy. Her sense of humor and easy laugh quickly pull him in, and soon he’s determined to help her get off the bunny slope for a fun vacation with her friends. He just didn’t expect their steamy chemistry to trigger an avalanche of desire straight to his heart.

If you are a fan of Kristen Proby and have read Love Under the Big Sky Series, then you don't want to miss this little gem.

I thought Saving Grace was a great addition to this already AMAZING Series. It was perfect for this series. Saving Grace is a novella and a very quick read. But let me say Kristen Proby knows how to write a novella. You never feel, because of the shortness of the book, that you are missing anything. She was able to give us a some humor, sexy times and even some drama. She was even able to give us background on Grace and Jacob, so that as a reader we are able to connect better with the characters.

This book is about Grace and Jacob. Grace is a school teacher and one of Lauren, Cara and Jillian's BFF. She lives in Cunningham Falls and is happy with her quiet life. The girls are all planning on a bachelorette party in Aspen and Grace doesn't want to go, because she is the queen of Clumsy. So as a solution the girls give her a getaway weekend at the ski resort right up the hill from her town. So she can have ski lessons. In comes Jacob. He is the billionaire who owns the ski resort and the person Grace mistakenly assumes is her ski instructor. Jacob is instantly enthralled with Grace and agrees to give her the lessons.

I loved watching these two connect. They had some funny banter and I loved when Grace would practice her accents on him ;) She was too cute for words. And the chemistry between them is off the charts HOT!!!

I would definitely recommend this book to everyone, If you have a couple hours to spare and are looking for a fun, sweet, and sexy read, this is the one to pick up. You won't be sorry. If you haven't read the other books in this series, Loving Cara, Seducing Lauren or Falling for Jillian, don't worry, this is a Standalone novella and can be read alone. I would recommend reading the whole series, they are romantic and heartfelt romances that will leave a smile on your face.

I love the humor and the laughter throughout this book. The British accent is one I always try to do and never succeeded at so it made me laugh even more to hear Grace do the same.

Kristen Proby continues to write a beautiful love story with memorable characters in her novella Saving Grace. Though this can be read as a stand alone, it is a part of her Love Under the Big Sky series.

Grace is a klutzy girl who is afraid to go on a ski outing with all of her friends, so they send her on a mini-vacation to have ski lesson at the resort up the hill for the weekend, to get her ready. After all, what can go wrong by strapping two sticks to your feet and speeding down a hill? The last thing she expects to happen is to get more than a ski lesson out of the trip.

This is a humorous book filled with love and laughter. I am looking forward to reading more from this amazing series!

aving Grace is the perfect example as to why I love Kristen Proby’s stories. This book gave me fun characters that I couldn’t help but fall in love with and was light on the drama. Saving Grace is sweet, sexy and a whole lot of fun. Yes, this book is a novella, but I’m telling you, this book gives you everything you are looking for.

As a fan of the Love Under The Big Sky series, I couldn’t have been more happier to spend a little more time with the series and characters that I loved. Saving Grace is Jacob and Grace’s story. And let me tell you, their story is the perfect winter romance. Their story was well-written and fast paced. And even though it was fast paced, it worked perfectly. I thought the story-line was a lot of fun and was entertaining. I couldn’t wait to see how things would play out.

Saving Grace is a wonderful addition to the Love Under The Big Sky series. Fans of this series, I definitely recommend checking this one out. You will not be disappointed!

WARNING:- This book was part of the "Baby, it's cold outside" anthology. So don't buy it twice.
That being said, it was great to read it again as it's a fast, cute! & a funny read.

When Grace heads over to meet her ski instructor she is in awe of his sexiness. But being her Klutzy self doesn't read too much into it as she knows she'll be spending a lot of time on her butt! She is very witty, if not corny at times but that's what adds that charm. Jacob is surprised at how much he is enjoying giving Grace her lesson and wants to know her better, much better. But he needs to let her know him a little better first before he reveals he is actually the owner of the lodge. The weekend is a lot of fun and a few bedroom scenes to make everyone blush.
This was a fast, fun, flirty and sexy read.
