Incompatibility with Aether mod

All functionalities that resolve around mining/destroying blocks stop from working when the aether mod is online.

Unfortunately I don't have enough information to even look into this

So, I'm using 1.12.2 Minecraft version, the MPS version for that minecraft version and the aether_legacy-1.12.2-v1.0.2 version for the Aether mod.
When those 2 are toghether, as I said before, all the funcionalities of breaking blocks with the power gauntlet stop working correctly, for an example:
You will take ages to break a block of stone with the pickaxe upgrade, and yes, it has been tried everything such as changing the speed of the mining upgrade or trying to mine other blocks or toggling the function with the keybinds.
Nothing seems to change the slow speed of mining blocks BUT the block still drops, if you mine stone, you get cooblestone after a good amount of seconds.
The same happens with the shovel and axe upgrade.

If the aether mod is removed, the issue stated disappears completely. Sorry for my first issue not having the valuable information you need.

Forge dropped support for 1.12.2 several years ago and the development environment is broken. It's not possible for me to support versions that old while trying to stay current.

I wonder if the same thing happens in the more recent versions of the MPS mod and Aether mod
