It seems like you forgot to cancel your GitHub Copilot subscription and were charged for a second year. This is a common issue many users face. From what I understand, you can try to request a refund. GitHub has a self-serve refund process for GitHub Copilot Individual subscriptions. You can follow the instructions in [5] to request a refund. Additionally, you can also try to cancel your subscription to avoid further charges. You can follow the instructions in [7] to cancel your subscription. If you are still having trouble, you can contact GitHub support for further assistance. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with. |

Hi everyone,
Over a year ago, I subscribed to GitHub Copilot with an annual subscription. I decided not to renew it after the first year but forgot to cancel in time. A month after the renewal date, I realized this and canceled my subscription. However, by then, GitHub had already attempted to charge me for the second year. Unfortunately, the credit card I used for payment is now locked, so GitHub keeps trying to charge me, but I can't pay.
I'm not sure what to do in this situation. Should I be responsible for paying for the one month I used Copilot after the renewal, or is there another solution?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
