The body of an adult was found in a home destroyed by fire near Antler Lake, Alta.
The Strathcona County house was engulfed in flames when fire crews arrived on scene around 3 a.m. Sunday.
“The fire progressed to a point where there was no way we could make an interior attack on it,” said Devin Capcara, deputy fire chief with Strathcona County.
He said crews fought the fire from outside and brought it under control within half an hour. Capcara said three full-time fire crews and two part-time stations responded to the fire.
According to police, two teenage boys were inside the house at the time and managed to escape.
One was treated in hospital for minor injuries, while the other was not injured.
