potaytoes Only a year ago I’d be complaining this was cut from the album - I do truly love longer records you can really get lost in. But it was the right call. Death is a tight, well paced album that has a strong conclusion before you forget the start. Nevertheless, the extended version is just as great, and I’m glad we get these tracks to enjoy both on their own and all together. Favorite track: Taste of Death.

The flac version of this sounds great in my truck... not a crunch, clip or boom to be heard. That, in itself, gets this major points. This is a lovely combination of early Floyd, U2 and a few San Francisco bands from the '60s with a heavy dose of Helmet tossed in. It's definitely best of breed when it comes to modern psych stuff. Even without a Hammond B3, it gets an easy A+... rick-taylor
