Gene Roddenberry
59 books126 followersEugene Wesley "Gene" Roddenberry, was an American screenwriter and producer. He became best known as the creator of what would become the science fiction universe of Star Trek. He would also become one of the first people to be "buried" in space. Roddenberry was a recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross for his actions in the U.S. Army Air Corps in the Pacific Theatre of World War II. Roddenberry was sometimes referred to as the "Great Bird of the Galaxy" in reference to his role in Star Trek.

It contains the scripts for all the "Star Trek" episodes to feature the omnipotent (and hilarious) character of Q, across TNG, DS9, and Voyager (updated to season three). If you are interested in script writing, this is definitely a fascinating look at what is on the page before it reaches the screen. It also includes some early draft surprises, such as the script for "Hide and Q", which features a role for the character of Deanna Troi (who was ultimately written out of the broadcast episode).

One of my all time favourite trek charactors. I got to enjoy the episodes featuring him in a whole new way.

My favorite story about Q is still Q-In-Law by Peter David. But this is all of them that made it into the shows and they are good.
