Red Jack. Rude. Crude. Horny ginger mess. In love with… himself.
Loki. Deadbeat. Volatile. Stalker. Terminally ill. Fatally in love.

When it comes to men, Red Jack has three rules. The guy has to be hot, out of town, and not up for repeats. It’s a good way to keep the gay flings far away from the eyes of his brothers in the Coffin Nails Motorcycle Club, and he will make damn sure it stays that way. When a hookup takes an ominous turn, and the sexy stranger turns up at his house, the heat is on. Loki invades his life and just won’t leave, wreaking havoc wherever he follows Jack, but getting rid of him becomes harder with every kiss.

The world crumbles around Loki when he finds out he has cancer. As if his life wasn’t shit enough already. With only a few months left, he decides to live to the fullest and get every last wish on his bucket list fulfilled. One of those is fucking the hot bearded biker he meets the same night he got the bad news. Big, confident, and dangerous, Red Jack is all Loki ever wanted in a man. It's no secret I love pretty much everything these Authors write.I absolutely love this series and don't know how I missed this one.

Red Jack is part of the Coffin Nails MC.He's a rough, crude biker with an extremely high opinion of himself.Although he's into girls and currently lusting after a girl that comes into the club he's definitely not adverse to hooking up with men for dirty blow jobs....as long as the MC don't find it out....

Loki is at a real low point in his life. He's just broken up with his boyfriend and has received some devastating news which prompts him to start a bucket list.....

On the same day,Red Jack is looking for a hook up,Loki just wants to forget.....
Loki becomes fixated on the sexy biker and relentlessly pursues him.Red Jack is having none of it and tries his best to push Loki away.

These Authors certainly know how to tell a gritty story and at times it's definitely not pretty.I started of hating Red Jack due to his treatment of Loki but was won over in the end.Loki, well I just loved him from the start to the finish....

This is one of my favourite books in the series in terms of the way the relationship developed between the two men. It's not all hearts and flowers but, like all these Authors books, compelling reading....

** 2 “To me, you are perfect.” STARS **

They fit together like a bullet and a gun.

Loki took HIS FISTS with understanding, yet could also speak his mind and give Red Jack hell. As awful as it was at the time, Red Jack loved the thrill of being with someone who spoke their mind like that and wasn’t afraid of him.

description

Not even going to give you guys a quick glance into the story. For that, you can read the blurb, it's really a fantastic summary as it is.

What ruined this one for me was:

#1 // The fact that Red Jack was practically a pushy a**hole sniffing a hang-around at the club called Lucy's butt, constantly trying to get into her pants, and giving her puppy eyes for her to spread her thighs for the first 25% of the book. He was such a p*ssy, ugh, not cool at all.

description

#2 // The fact that he hits Loki a few times after telling him that he'd never......I repeat.......NEVER hurt him.

That is NOT okay. That is NEVER okay. NOWHERE IN HELL is that okay, you got me tough boy!?!

OVERALL: My 2nd strike with this author this month... Dammit. Am I losing another favourite?

This book starts with a warning:

"The characters in this book live deeply in the morally grey zone, and we wouldn't advise anyone to follow in their footsteps ;)."

Take it seriously. If this is your first Merikan book, you 're in for a surprise. If you re a Merikan fan...you 're in for a surpise too. This was somewhat grittier and more violent than the other books of the series. And with characters that are meant to be really unlikeable before earning out love and sympathy.

Red Jack
He is exactly what the blurb says. Crude and rude, he only respects his brothers from the club. Horny ginger mess, he fucks everything that walks, women and men. But with caution, the club must not find out about his male hook ups. In love with himself. He's a gift to humanity, the best stud in town and he worked damn hard for it. That's right, Red Jack is no longer the lanky, ugly ginger kid with the freckled skin. The kid that is a disappointment to his family, that gets picked on at school and ends up in juvie.

Loki
It was supposed to be a hook up. Another thing to cross off his bucket list. But he hadn't counted on love. Loki is terminally ill and has only three months left to live. He decides he wants to spend it with Red Jack. He becomes a stalker, obsessed , determined to make Red Jack love him. He deserves a last chance at love, right?

“On the day I found out I’m through, I was all alone... and you contacted me.” He pulled the chair closer and leaned forward, resting his head on Red Jack’s palm. “That had to mean something. I was meant to be with you."

These are not your typical heroes. They fight a lot and are violent with each other. But they make love with the same intensity they fight and they protect each other with their lives. Their story is not pretty. But it is red and hot and real. It's the love that can cause a crime of passion.

“So you wanna be my property?”
“I wanna die your property.”

It pushes boundaries, this book. And I freaking loved it! And don't be afraid, there is a HEA. It's solid and satisfying but real nonetheless. I can't wait for the next book of the series!

Red flags being thrown in my face in the first chapters. However, the moment the main character shot his love interest after the latter smacked him in the face got me going. The twist in the end surely put me off because it was quite anticlimactic and all that buildup crumbled to the floor.

I LOVE this series! It's definitely the hottest motorcycle-club series I've read so far! I devoured all the books and all those hot and rough stories.

Red Jack - egocentric and tough, closeted gay, too blunt and ruthless.
Levi Stocke men's fashion beard beards tattoos Harley:

Loki- scarred gay man, long haired and pretty sure of himself despite his horrible past. Now he wants to live it to the fullest and he's not afraid to seem psycho, he fallowed Red Jack like a stalker until he got what he craved for!
... amazing black hair & amber eyes... would make a spectacular portrait/drawing.:

I think I would have given this 5 stars, if it wasn't for Red's attitude towards Loki. From the start he was too rude, then he was such an ass, and he went too far with his anger. I hate any slapping outside the bed!

This being said, I also was kind of disappointed by the end of the book. I mean, they're in California, and even if their club is not as open minded... I would have expected Red Jack to fight the homophobes and well, fight for him and Loki!
I had such high hopes for them as a couple, just to be kind of disappointed by the resignation they both had at the end!

Over all it was a great story, with a lot of action, many turns and well the sex was out of this world! So HOT!!!

Wow, this book was a red hot mess. And to be perfectly honest, for the first half of the book, I wasn't sure I actually liked it, which was a first in my experience with these authors. Indeed, the first half of Red Hot confused and depressed me in equal measure. Jack was an insecure, selfish asshole, and Loki...well, I just didn't even know what to think about him. He latched right onto Jack and decided they were boyfriends and just bulldozed his way right into Jack's life. It was a crazy act by a desperate person. And the result was a borderline abusive relationship that just hurt to watch.

But then, an odd thing started to happen. Jack started learning how to be a human being. And as he came to terms with his feelings for Loki, I actually started to like them both. I'm kind of shocked by that turn of events, to tell you the truth.

Even though Jack kind of redeemed himself, by the end, I still feel kind of stunned by the crazy. But in a good way.

I've no understanding of the way Loki behaved, going through Red Jack's things and throwing out waste and just declaring him the person with whom he will spend his last months. Who does that? You can't just barge into someone's life and give your own touch to everything when they keep rejecting you!

OMG, where do I even begin? I'm not even sure how to describe the relationship between Loki and Jack. Sometimes friendly. Sometimes sexy hot. Sometimes toxic. Sometimes cringe worthy. But I can tell you one thing, I didn't want to put the book down!!

First off, let me just say that Jack can be a complete ass! But that's actually part of his charm as well. I mean, he can really be a grade A jerk, but it made it that much better when you see his shifting feelings slowly change regarding Loki. And don't even get me started on Loki...he did some things that literally made me cringe. Like . That was really messed up. But I'm sort of giving him a break because he so he was desperate to get what he wanted and he didn't have a lot of time to waste.

When you think of a true romance, what comes to mind? Do you think, I bet the main characters meet on a hookup site and have oral sex in a public restroom. And it would be even better if one of them sent a dick pic to the other before they met. Ah, true love in the making. lol Well, when a relationship has a rocky start like this one, you can only expect some fireworks throughout the whole thing. But it was well worth it.

Let me just get this out of the way.....relationship aside....Jack and Loki were smokin' when they had sex! I mean, I would have read 300 pages back to back of them just going at it because it was that good. Jack is one hot man and Loki can't get enough of him. Even though Jack doesn't want to admit it, he really feels the same about Loki, but he struggles with his feelings about it A LOT! I've always had a soft spot for gingers...but a big muscle ginger with a beard. H-E-L-L-O!

It's quite a roller coaster ride on what happens between these two. Jack is busy trying to deny his feelings while he's trying to pass Loki off as someone else to his brothers in the MC. Loki is desperately trying to complete his bucket list while holding on to Jack any way that he can. Desperation leads to bad things, and bad things certainly happen to both of them. But I was rooting for them the entire time even though they each did things that pissed me off.

Gritty, dirty, violent, hot, sexy, and somewhat gluten free! The one thing I hoped would happen that didn't is when

I love this series and this book was no exception! Awesome ride!

*** Bloody, raw, violent, gritty, unlawful, and intense, are all words to describe this book. ***
But in addition we can use caring, loving, powerful, accepting, and volcanic.
Red Jack is a tough ginger biker who only worries about himself,

until he comes across tattooed, pierced, long haired scarred beauty Loki.

Loki's story is a sad one, with his crappy family history, now non-existent family, plus he's survived horrendous torture at the hands of an ex and his pals, and on top of that, dreaded news from the doctor. He's sees something in Red Jack that he wants and goes for it.

I liked these flawed guys, and they are VERY screwed up. It is remarkable to watch Red Jack have his astonishing realizations and life altering attitude adjustments. One man is big, strong and fierce, and the other is smaller, vulnerable, and just as fierce.

A match made for mayhem.
It's a magnificent cast of characters with lots of juicy action, brutal violence, amazing M/M sex, first times, exquisite revenge, surprises and twists.
This awesome series by K.A. Merikan always gets it right. Each tale can stand alone.
Highly recommended. ENJOY !!!

Ah that was gooooood. So deliciously fucked up! There are alot of things I like about this book, but Loki's complete craziness is a big one.

Loki is full on crazy stalker at the beginning of this, falling in love after one blow job, smelling Jack's dirty clothes, lurking in dark spaces.... It was fantastic!

Red Jack is also a major asshole, like I really really didn't like him in the beginning.

Considering both of these characters characteristics I was very surprised by how well developed their relationship became and the amount of love and tenderness between them at the end. You would not think possible when you first met them.

I also really loved how amoral these two are, they do not have a problem with murdering and torturing bad guys and I was really in the mood for that!

I'm so glad to hear there might be a full length sequel to this, they didn't get a HEA and I really want to to see one for them....Maybe they should move to Detroit.

I like this quote, I think it was one of the first moments Jack thought something sweet and I may have been silly smiling... Just a little.

“Fuck! Are you okay?” Red Jack ran up to Loki and patted him down in a blind attempt at finding injuries. He didn’t know shit about medicine but all of a sudden, he wanted to go to med school, and become a doctor, and have all the knowledge.

Aw it's so cute!

Beware Jack does have sex with women in this, not in graphic detail but there is alot of talk of pussies and tits.

Great great story! Off to read Loki's New Job: Coffin Nails MC California!!

K.A. Merikan’s outlaw bikers strike again! And this time, somehow, the craziness and brutality sneaked up on me about one third into the book when I realized that both these characters are way more sick and disturbing than I had thought. I mean, yes, I got that Red Jack was a selfish bastard who thinks he is God’s gift to women. And “poor Loki” has that brain tumor to deal with and only weeks to live, so he is bound to be a little strange. But then, on page fifty-seven, at the end of chapter twelve, he rudely awakened me from my illusions about his mental state. He is as crazy as Red Jack – just in a different way – and I never looked at him the same way after that. And yes, you guessed it, the book gets even more intense and crazy once he pulled – that little stunt.

Red Jack is a law unto himself. His description in the blurb - Rude. Crude. Horny ginger mess. In love with… himself. – is spot on and I couldn’t summarize him any better. He is the definition of bisexual, yet he denies being attracted to men until he is red in the face – pun intended. Watching his transformation, slow as it may be, and ultimate growth was fascinating. It’s so slow I almost didn’t notice it, but by the end of the book he is a different man. Still nowhere near normal, but at least he has slain a few of his personal demons.

Loki had my sympathies at first. He has a brain tumor and only a very short time to live, so of course I felt sorry for him. He makes a bucket list of all the things he wants to do before he dies, and I was wiling to cheer him on. Then he begins to go after Red Jack, who is the ideal guy to help him cross off everything on his list, and I was a little taken aback. Loki is a stalker of the worst kind. But okay – brain tumor, right? But it keeps getting worse, and by the end of chapter twelve I realized he was just as bad as Red Jack, and it wasn’t because of the tumor. What a crazy, sick little f*cker he is! Amazingly enough he too learns a few things and begins to grow. I was glued to the pages!

Loki and Red Jack are as fascinating as the other main characters in this series. Their relationship is more volatile, because both of them are way on the other end of the “normal” scale – they may actually have fallen off it. There is less of an external threat in this story than in the others – Loki and Red Jack are threatening each other enough. Yes there is also an external battle, but even that is more about how Loki relates to Red Jack and vice versa. As brutal, gritty, and just this side of the limits to my comfort zone as the other books, this one focuses more on the “psychology of craziness”. There is still plenty of moral gray zone though.

If you like outlaw bikers and their crazy way of looking at the world, if you enjoy stories with two main characters who truly deserve each other because one is crazier than the other, and if you’re looking for a read filled with desperation, violence, and deep emotions, then you should definitely give this novel a try. It has the same pronounced “danger vibe” as the other volumes in this series, but the story underneath it all, as always, is well worth it – at least it is for me.

How can there be so many laugh out loud moments in something so dark? Ha, because K.A. Merikan has the most deliciously twisted sense of humor, and they manage to slip it into the most unlikely places. And, while other narrators are fantastic for K.A. Merikan's stories, nobody gets their humor better than Wyatt Baker.

Wyatt Baker does a stunning job with Red Hot, the different voices he uses for the characters, the emotion, and as I mentioned, his subtle nods at the tongue-in-cheek humor, it's just a wonderful listening experience!

The whole way through I marveled at how Loki changes Jack's perception of gay love and gay sex. The Merikans set Jack up for his awakening so gradually that it totally works, and that makes this one even better.

Deliciously dark and crazy hot, Red Hot is one fantastically fun ride!

First off I want to thank the Authors for an Arc in exchange for my honest review.

This book reminds be of why of love the Sex and Mayhem series so much.

Red Jack is hot, but flawed. He loves sex, himself, and wants Lucy really bad. He thinks his material things will help get her so he can rock her world in bed. His actions towards people, especially Loki, in the beginning were downright mean and almost evil. I couldn't stay angry with him though. He really was insecure and didn't believe anyone would want to be with him completely and love him.

Loki is an obssessive stalker who seems to be able to break in anywhere he wants. His ex told him he had brain cancer so now he's out to complete his bucket list in the next 3 months. Like a sign from God he gets a dick pic from Red Jack. They have a quick hook up and Loki has decided that Red Jack will be his one true love before he dies. He goes about inserting himself into Jack's life wherever possible. I LOVE Loki! He is one of my favorite characters in this ongoing series.

Together Loki and Red Jack are so hot and yet, at times, so toxic to each other. Just when you think they'll be okay something happens and they start fighting, slapping, hitting, drowning, etc.

You've made me feel things that I thought were dead in me.

Lucy annoyed the crap out of me. Her Gluten free ass needed to shut up. I did feel kind of bad for her near the end of the book.

The boys did get their HEA but it wasn't entirely the way I wished for it to go.

Red Hot

Wow. So, Have you ever read a book that is so bad, you actually totally Loved it??
This book was seriously over the top ridiculous. I Literally went back and forth this entire book trying to analyze my feelings for it and these guys. Lol. It was kind of crazy. In a good way? And totally Sexy, Dirty and Fucking Hot. Jesus.
And Omg. Loki, is totally fucking bat shit crazy and I loved everything about him. Like I need way more of Loki. The shit he did and came up with was totally insane but idk how anyone could not love him. Lol. Now RedJack on the other hand. I wasn’t too fond of him cause he’s got some weird ideas of how he’s “supposed to be” but he totally counteracts Loki’s crazy with a very different version of his own. Not sure anyone but Jack could put up with the hot mess that’s Loki. Bottom line I really do think I actually liked this one. It was seriously entertaining and had me laughing numerous timesat their antics. LoL

Red Jack. Rude. Crude. Horny ginger mess. In love with… himself.

Loki. Deadbeat. Volatile. Stalker. Terminally ill. Fatally in love.

They did it again! Seriously, only the Merikans can pull this off and end up with 5 star reviews. They manage again and again that the reader falls in love with morally very ambiguous characters if I put it mildly. If you're not familiar with their work yet, be warned: this are not the books for the fainthearted, but boy, they are worth the time and every cent. This is book 5 in Sex&mayhem bikers series, but it can be read as standalone.
The characters in this book are everything that blurb says an much more. Red Jack considers himself MC royalty and is so much overwhelmed by his own greatness that he can't see an inch past his own reflection in the mirror. He is also so deeply closeted that he wouldn't admit, that he's bi at best, even to himself and certainly not to his MC brothers, because he's afraid to lose the only real family he's ever got. He just engages in numerous anonymous sex acounters with faceless men and keeps it far from his club.
And here's where Loki comes in, and slowly, with determination of a dying man and stubbornness of a three year old, who wants everything here and now, turns his world upside down. He slowly penetrates Reds armor, and what we find underneath is a deeply self-conscious man who has never been loved or in love before. And Loki grows in that process too. From a messed up irresponsible man child, who thinks world owes him everything, to a young man who begins questioning his actions and tryes to make up for them in the best way he can.
This book is raw, gritty, hot rollercoaster of sex, violence and confused emotions. Onee of the best in this series, and I love them all. The only thing that bothered me was the end. Don't worry - there is a HEA and it's not a cliffhanger, but I can't escape the feeling, that the authors owe us some more of this story.
If you'll like this book I strongly recommend the others from this series, best read in chronological order and my absolutely favourite series by K. A. Merikan Guns&boys

I'll start out by saying that this book won't be for everyone. But if it is for you? Hot-fucking-DAMN enjoy the ride! This is not a story about two well adjusted people who meet and fall in love and have a sweet and healthy relationship. Red Jack is a violent outlaw of the Coffin Nails MC who fucks indiscriminately and tosses them aside, with an over-compensating ego due to ginger insecurity. And he is the sane one in this relationship. Loki is bat-shit-fucking-cray-cray, whether due to the tumor eating his brain or whether he's always been like this, we don't know, but he latches in to Red Jack being his dying love and he will not be ignored!

Watching the relationship change and grow, the HOT fucking sex, the violence, the feelings that develop, the danger, the murder, the feeeeeelz , all of it. If you love sexy as fuck man-on-man sex and morally ambiguous sexy bikers a la Sons Of Anarchy, this shit is for you.

Remember that biker gangs are not generally known for their open-mindedness with respect to homosexuals, in particular with members of their club. So don't expect a happy-go-lucky perfect white picket fence resolution. But despite bigoted bikers and brain tumors and psychotic main characters, do expect a HFN/HEA rough and raw love affair of epic proportions.

I don't usually post pics, but I couldn't resist the hotness:

The main complaints I see about this installment in the Sex & Mayhem series is that Red Jack and Loki have a pretty abusive, screwed up relationship. And yeah, they do. These are two of the most fucked up characters I've ever gotten to know. But the thing is, that characterization is purposeful, and the Merikan duo did a superb job portraying a couple of guys who probably shouldn't be allowed to be around others unsupervised. This is not a fluffy read. There's no instalove, no warm fuzzies, no stereotypical Happily Ever After. And since I went into it knowing I was in for some seriously warped reading, I was actually able to sit back and enjoy it for what it was. In order to not completely hate this book, and to come out of if with some modicum of understanding, you have to try and let all your preconceived notions and expectations go. I did, and I strangely found myself able to laugh repeatedly at just how fucked up these two characters are. They insult each other, lie to each other, physically assault each other, and they're both so completely twisted that all these infractions are like declarations of love.

It's kinda sweet. In a twisted, completely dysfunctional way.

This was crazy good! Jack and Loki are so dysfunctional and out of control, I loved it! And it's not really in the same way as Stitch in book 1, who I felt was a danger to Zak. Jack and Loki are both out of their minds and hurt each other. It's not one sided and their crazies go together well and turn each other on. They can handle themselves. I especially loved Jack.

After loving the first two books in this series to bits, I had to skip on the third as it was (gasp!) m/f, and then I was unfortunately bitterly disapointed with No Matter What so much so that after a bit of reading and a lot of skimming I gave up on it completely, I was aprehensive about Red Hot, yet bought it the minute it was availeable.

Glad to say that I do no regret it.

I spent most of yesterday afternoon a sniveling mess while reading Red and Loki's journey and found that there can be an even more compelling couple that Tooth and Luci from The Devil's Ride.

I'm sure there are those who find this book too much for them and those who are cynical enough to notice the slight sugar-coating, as we never see the bad boys acting like the criminals they are aside from when they take revenge on even worse guys. But, this is erotic/romantic fiction that heavily relies upon the MCs being likeable at least on some level, so I can easily look over that.

As far as character go, I'm usualy one to like the MC that is more of a bastard, but in this case, I fell for Loki completely. His insane obsessiveness, his craveing for affection and the ability to disregard his own crazy behavior made him so unique and loveable. I did like Red too, absolutely, but it was much due to Loki's impact on his life.

Given the word count there was an incredible amount of emotion crammed between the cover, yet there was very little that actually happened, but for me it worked. The ambiance, the minor characters and the dialogue were spot on and made this a wonderful read.

For those who love the series this one is a must, but I would also recommend it for maybe the readers who want to step utside their comfort zone, as this is pretty safe as far as darker romances go.

I received an ARC from the authors in exchange for an honest review

Red Jack is just looking for a person to suck his dick and stroke his ego. He loves his bike, and his things. Happily enjoying his material life. He thinks he is a quite the catch, and doesn't understand why the girl he is chasing keeps shooting him down.

Loki has just received some devastating news, and his life has taken on a new focus. It is all about his bucket list. On the list happens to be 'Have sex with a ginger'. Suddenly he receives a dick pic with ginger pubes through a hook up app on his phone. Fate has spoken and he sees it as a sign that he is meant to be with this man until he dies.

Red Jack is the biggest dickhead I have read about so far. I used to know people who refused to reflect on anything besides the superficial *now* and just didn't understand why their peers didn't give them the time of day. Having no depth of character is a turn off. Complete turn off. Thankfully for him, Loki doesn't seem to care. His fated match has appeared like a last gift from God, and he will stalk and harass until Red Jack is his.

This story was dark, but humourous. I loved Loki's drive to fulfill his list. Red Jack isn't amused but slowly warms to the idea of a live in fuck buddy.

There was lots of violence, some hurt/comfort, and some deep introspection from Red Jack, which redeemed him as a man, and built depth to his character.

I loved these two as a couple. They were such an odd pair. A lot happened in the short time span with surprising twists, that created a truly entertaining read. I'd love a follow up on them at a later time.

My standard trigger warnings for those who may be sensitive to darker elements:

. . . . . . This was a 2 to 2.5 read for me. I was expecting a lot as I liked book 2 of this series (never read book 1,3, and 4) and K.A. Merikan's other books as well.

I got soooo confused in the beginning that I didn't want to read this anymore. I guess everything made sense as you read along, but it was written in a way that I didn't like. I only finished the book because I thought I would see improvements but I didn't. The epilogue kinda didn't do much for me either. There was so much lies being told between Loki and Jack cuz they were trying to "cover up " their relationship that WHEN they were telling the lies, it was outta the blue and utterly confused me, because I'm reading it and I know they are going to have to "lie" about it but again I didn't like the way it was written as it confused me, the reader lol. Including Loki's abrupt stalker, obsessive, clinglyness to Jack in the beginning where almost most of his behavior was not explained very well I thought. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy that kind of character in books, if written well, where I'm like "OK this bitch is crazy", but this was more like "ok this bitch is REALLY FUCKING CRAZY CRAY, I don't understand this!!" and again I think it was because of how it was written. . .

I really did enjoy Red Jack, Loki, Sam, and Monster overall and wished I would have liked this book a lot more. I dunno. I suck at reviews and writing too, but I love to read. *sigh* this just wasn't for me but I would still recommend this to others, as K.A.Merikan does write bad ass alpha males and most readers, based on the reviews seemed to enjoy it. This was a great story, but the writing didn't do it justice. Book 2 is by far the best. This is my own opinion.

IMO, the BEST of the series, absolutely loved it. Best couple, and that's saying something, because I didn't think you could get better than Tooth and Lucky, but Red Jack and Loki were my ideal. Yeah, they often did everything wrong, but in my books, that's everything right. I don't like reading about perfect characters, cardboard cut outs like the millions of characters in other books. I like original characters, that are nowhere else to be seen, and that's what Red Jack and Loki were. In all their imperfections, they were perfect to me. So entertaining, that I found it so hard to put the book down. I didn't want it to end. And was so happy to see there was a short story about them next. And yup, finished that at breakneck speed. If anymore books come out about these two, I'll be throwing my money at the authors. Love these characters, can't say that enough. And Loki, Loki, Loki ... damn, he was precious. He has to be my favourite of this whole series, actually, of all of their writing, and that's saying a lot, since I've read Guns N' Boys. I just loved the way Loki didn't do things by halves, just went for what he wanted and in such a funny, stalker, psychotic way. BEST CHARACTER EVER. I'm not sure what that says about me, lol. And I loved Red Jack too. I better stop before I babble further, and get redirected back to praising the authors for creating such a delicious character . Loki <3

Whoosh! That was one helluva ride! Dirty, gritty, nasty love but it worked so well. Crazy love, literally. Unlikeable characters but you learn to care for them. How cool is that? Murder, beatings, mutilation, raunchy sex. Yes, the loony stalker and the hulking tool manage to grow to love each other. I really enjoyed this one. So very much better than the last couple of books. 4.5 stars and recommended though it's an acid trip so beware!
