I was looking forward to Finding Forever because I loved the first book What The Lady Wants. But I was not prepared to be blown away like this. What I enjoyed the most was the horse ranch setting where Amelia and Daryl both face personal challenges and grew as people. Ms. Rhone's writing sweeps you up and brings you into her world and you won't want to leave. Ever! Oh and this was also a romantic suspense and if you like bodyguard stories you will ADORE this one.
Ms. Rhone has created two unforgettable characters that don't belong together, strips away their defenses and opens them up to find themselves. And in turn they find forever!...more

Both Gabby and Rick are introduced in an intriguing way. Who doesn't love a hot guy who answers the door in a towel?!?
The ghost element kept me on my toes, the romance had the right amount of spice, and I was completely surprised at the end.
I look forward to the next book in the series....more
This story took me by surprise because although it had all the expected elements of romantic suspense, it's unique setting and compWhat a great novel!
This story took me by surprise because although it had all the expected elements of romantic suspense, it's unique setting and complex characters made this book stand out. Ms. Lauryn took a risk by locating her fictional theater in a charming suburb of Manhattan when she could have 'used' the glitz and glamour of Broadway to help tell her story. Instead she created a world from the ground up with vivid storytelling. It works so well because the characters are detailed in a way that at times you think you're reading an historical novel.
As far as the main characters Evan and Hannah, the word is 'explosive'. A true love hate love hate roller coaster! Their backstory is complex and messy and Ms. Lauryn masterfully shows each character's journey from the different stages they each take to achieve their happy ever after.
An Amorous Dance is the second book in the Rabourn Theater series but can easily read as a stand alone. But because the first book's characters are present and superb references to their story, without laborious data dumps has put A Passionate Play on my TBR list. And because of some clever hints in later chapters of this book I have a suspicion about what's in store for Book 3. And I can't wait....more
I was blown away by this novel. I had not read the first book [Saving Toby], but Ms. Link does a fantastic job of Amazing journey filled with emotion!
I was blown away by this novel. I had not read the first book [Saving Toby], but Ms. Link does a fantastic job of sprinkling in pieces of the past enough to fill you in, but also make you feel you HAVE to read that book. I was so emotionally invested in Claudia and Toby and Ms. Link nailed it with her tagline: Falling in love is easy, staying in Love is hard. Her characters are so real and raw that you’ll feel their pain and struggles with her razor-sharp writing. This novel was a touch longer than others, but you’ll savor every page. ...more

I don’t usually read YA, but it was definitely more A, than Y for me. It was beautifully written and the characters extremely well defined. Their goals and dreams clear and it held throughout the book. I usually don’t warm up to secondary characters, but Elijah’s sister is so well placed and makes him the person he really is despite a tough bad boy image he’s trying to project for his music career. And who doesn’t love a hip snappy Nana? The romance between the characters was perfectly balanced against the drama. The Way it Hurts is a great read and I definitely recommend it....more

I was drawn in immediately. Nika Rhone delivers a clear plot with juicy conflicts and takes you on a roller coaster ride. Each main characters' introspections are chock full of emotion and the way the characters want each other so badly had me rooting for them. But there were boundaries and Rhone let her characters dance close enough to feel the intensity but pulls back to make you want more. The heat level is smoldering and complelety appropriate for the characters' situations. I did not feel denied at all.
There are great secondary characters who richly layer the story without stealing the scenes. As a romantic suspense, the 'who's gonna do it' is delivered masterfully and kept me guessing right up to the end. And Rhone holds nothing back to bring this amazing novel to a satisfying conclusion.
I'm so glad this is part of a series and can't wait for Book 2!...more

The story is richly layered with interesting secondary characters and intriguing subplots. It's set in a fictional North Shore town Compass Cove. Bravo to Jeannie Moon for developing such a realistic place and to give readers a taste of Long Island Coastal Living. Given the release date, this will be a great book to curl up with under a blanket. I was rooting for Adam and Mia and readers will too. Great Read. Highly Recommended. ...more
