Get ready to reel in the big ones while making a difference at the Poke and Pole Pike Tourney, a unique ice-fishing event aimed at raising funds for local veterans. Hosted by The Great Itasca Giveback, this tournament promises an exciting day on the ice with incredible prizes, camaraderie, and a meaningful cause. Set for Thursday, January 18, the tournament runs from sunrise until 6 p.m. and welcomes two-person teams to fish any Minnesota lake. GRACF Scholarship Application Opens January 1 2025
Any area students interested in pursuing their education during the 2025-2026 school year are encouraged to apply for scholarships through the Grand Rapids Area Community Foundation. All students, both traditional and nontraditional, are encouraged to apply, as there are a wide variety of scholarships available.
