right we have the name and date for the 20th loz game. time to get hyped.

what we know: it's a sequel to Breath of the Wild so presumably another open world game with similar mechanics.
development started as dlc for botw but they decided to make it a full game when they had more and more ideas.
game has presumably been worked on since around the time champion's ballad was finished and some of that time was during lock down.
there are now multiple floating islands to explore and a new large mechanical glider link has been shown riding on.
new outfits and weapons are a given, link's arm has taken on an odd appearance the exact nature of which is unknown.
some new abilities have been teased including methods for reaching the floating islands.
story is unknown but seems to include the revival of ganondorf, zelda going missing and the master sword breaking.
stone taluses can now have other enemies riding them

TOTK > OOT > BOTW > SS > MM > WW > TP

God could you imagine if Zelda dies in this?

Yeah, this floating platform stuff doesn't appeal to me in the same way exploring Hyrule via the various transportation methods did.

Be fair though, where else could they go?

I'm excited for Star Fox Loftwing.
