Thought - officially BOTW is at the end of all timelines i.e. the split timelines converge back to BOTW.

The founding myth of Skyloft is that the goddess Hylia raised up the land after war devastated the surface.

What if TOTK is a prequel to Skyward Sword?

Zelda timeline becomes cyclical. It would explain how despite being at the start of the timeline, Skyward Sword still has "ancient" technology - that's strikingly similar to the ancient tech in BOTW at the end of the timeline. I knew Hyrule Historia hadn't killed the timeline debates :datass:

That would be pretty cool.

I’m guessing it’s tied to Amiibo but it would be cool if this game, if time travel was involved, featured various versions of Link

I presumed it was just a mask, a la the Bokoblin (etc) ones in BotW? Looks like it on the underside too and the physique is BotW Link.
