Pia Wurtzbach-Jauncey, the former Miss Universe, is now an author. She has transformed her long-cherished aspiration into a reality with the successful launch of her inaugural novel, titled "Queen of the Universe". The book is available online for purchase.

The book's official unveiling was held at the Manila International Book Fair, hosted at the SMX Convention Center. The beauty queen was on call to promote her debut novel. During the interaction with the local media and fans, she spoke at length about her turning a novelist and why she felt compelled to write a book on her life and times as a contestant in a beauty contest.

The book chronicles the character, Cleo’s journey. Just like Pia, the protagonist of the novel is also a beauty queen aspirant. The book delves deep into the politics behind winning a crown and how contestants often resort to dirty trick to win. It’s partly inspired by her own life.

Amidst the book signing session, where her enthusiastic readers eagerly awaited her autograph, Philstar.com interviewed the multifaceted beauty queen-cum-author. During the conversation, Pia openly discussed her decision to employ the medium of writing to recount the story of the character Cleo, whom she openly acknowledges draws inspiration from her own life experiences.

Taking to Instagram, Miss Universe 2015 expressed her heartfelt appreciation for the unwavering support of her admirers who flocked to her booth at the Manila International Book Fair to procure signed copies of her work. Pia penned her gratitude, saying, "I am truly overwhelmed by the incredible love you have shown for 'Queen of the Universe.'"

Earlier, as the Manila International Book Fair drew nearer, she confessed to feeling nervous However, upon witnessing the flood of tags, stories, posts, and reels from her fans (some even quoting passages from her book), she couldn't help but feel an electrifying sense of excitement. Pia also extended her heartfelt acknowledgment to those who patiently queued up for the opportunity to meet and greet her.

In publishing her debut book, "Queen of the Universe," Pia Wurtzbach has checked off another cherished item from her bucket list, marking a significant milestone in her illustrious career.
