Hawks Injury Report

Latest Hawks News
Keaton Wallace : Good to go for Saturday
Wallace (shoulder) isn't on the injury report for Saturday's game versus the Knicks. Wallace will return to action Saturday after missing Atlanta's previous 11 contests. Wallace is averaging 3.6 points and 1.9 assists in 13.3 minutes across his last 10 appearances.
Jacob Toppin : Ruled out for Saturday
Toppin (calf) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Knicks, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports. Toppin has yet to suit up for the Hawks this season and is still rehabbing a right calf injury that he sustained in late March while playing for the G League's College Park Skyhawks. His next chance to feature will come Sunday against Utah.
Trae Young : Likely to play Saturday
Young (Achilles) is listed as probable for Saturday's game versus the Knicks, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports. Young continues to receive probable tags due to a right Achilles issue but is expected to make his 12th straight appearance Saturday. Young has played at least 30 minutes in each of his previous 11 outings, so he is unlikely to operate on a minutes restriction if he's upgraded to available.
Zaccharie Risacher : Offensive struggles continue
Risacher provided nine points (4-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt), three rebounds, one assist and one steal over 25 minutes during Wednesday's 120-118 loss to the Mavericks. Risacher continues to struggle on the offensive end, tallying single digits for the third time in the past four games. Despite his recent shooting woes, it's been a relatively strong rookie campaign for Risacher. A season-ending shoulder injury to Jalen Johnson allowed him to step into the starting lineup on a consistent basis. In 24.8 minutes per game this season, Risacher is averaging 12.3 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.6 three-pointers in 24.8 minutes per contest.
Onyeka Okongwu : Another double-double
Okongwu had 20 points (7-15 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-7 FT), 14 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two steals across 40 minutes during Wednesday's 120-118 loss to the Mavericks. Okongwu delivered his third double-double in the past five games, continuing to thrive as the starting center in Atlanta. Since finally supplanting Clint Capela, Okongwu has been able to realize some of the potential people had been waiting to see. In 16 games over the past month, he has put up delicious averages of 15.3 points, 10.9 rebounds, 1.3 steals, 1.2 blocks and 1.0 three-pointers in 32.3 minutes per game.
Georges Niang : Muted effort in loss
Niang amassed six points (2-6 FG, 2-5 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist and one steal in 20 minutes during Wednesday's 120-118 loss to the Mavericks. Niang was a non-factor in the loss, continuing what has been an up-and-down ride since arriving in Atlanta. It's typically hit or miss when it comes to Niang's production, with his value tied up in points and threes. He has scored fewer than seven points in three of the past four games, averaging 7.8 points and 2.0 three-pointers during that time.
Trae Young : Green light to play Wednesday
Young (Achilles) is available for Wednesday's game against the Mavericks. As expected, Young will continue to play through a nagging right Achilles issue that has made him a mainstay on the Hawks' injury report this season. He's played in the Hawks' last 11 games and has shot 41.4 percent from three over that span while averaging 26.0 points, 11.9 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 1.6 steals over 35.4 minutes per contest.
Jacob Toppin : Won’t play Wednesday
Toppin (calf) will not play Wednesday against the Cavaliers, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports. Toppin has yet to make an appearance for the Hawks this season. He is still rehabbing a calf issue he picked up in the G League.
