Happy Halloween! Hope everyone staying safe trick or treating! Arnel and I are at home watching Stranger Things, he has me hooked and now I am just curious to find out what will happen. Definitely wasn’t a fan of mystery or fantasy type films or shows but this one is definitely different. It’s also a conversation starter to say the least.
Another conversation starter has definitely been this fall weather and all the fall trends, especially mini skirts. I have been loving mini skirts and boots lately! This Beige Velveteen Skirt was a recent buy and I love the A-line, high-waisted fit and the adorable button detailing. I am wearing a size 0 (true to size), also the fabric is a bit stretchy so remember that it will stretch out a bit. I also love the cognac shade which looks great with black as well as brown undertones. I also love this Beige Skirt by Free People that I wore here. Turtlenecks have become a favorite recently, I definitely had a love hate relationship with them, I hated how they would be so tight around my neck but then I loved how warm and cozy they were. This Striped Turtleneck won’t be tight around the neck (I promise), it has a looser fit which I am a huge fan of and it’s made for layering so you can add as many sweaters over it as you want, perfect for the fall and the upcoming winter. It is true to size, wearing a Small for reference.
Since it’s been chilly in the mornings but warm in the afternoons, I have loved wearing the boots with no tights and have definitely worn these Stuart Weitzman Boots (shade Cola) a ton lately, much more practical and so worth the investment. I did also find a few budget friendly versions that I think you all would like; these here & here. I have also been eyeing these gray ones for a while now, what do you all think?
Scarves are also another fun way to accessorize and stay warm, while my collection has grown over the years I always love indulging in new ones during the cold months, recently ordered this one and this one and found a similar version to my old scarf; here.
This is such a fun and easy outfit for date night with the hubs, weekend with the girls or just everyday wear. It’s also super cute for fall and the earth tones are my all time favorite. Let me know what you all think!
