Shoolini and South Africa’s University of Venda to collaborate

Shoolini University has signed a Memorandum of Undertake with South Africa’s University of Venda to collaborate on yoga, entrepreneurship, and research in various departments.
A delegation from South Africa spent a week at Shoolini University participating in various activities. They met Shoolini University’s Chancellor Prof P K Khosla and Vice-Chancellor Prof Atul Khosla to discuss a joint research projects.
They also signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for research collaboration with the University of Venda. Under its provisions, Venda university confirms will fund two members of Shoolini Yoga Faculty to conduct a YOGA seminar at the University of Venda.
The delegates also participated in a Belletristic event hosted by the School of Liberal Arts and discussed culture and women’s participation in South Africa.
Prof. Marizbikuru Manjoro, School of Agriculture, and Prof. Rameshia Shonisani, School of Food Technology, from the University of Venda, will spend one semester on the Shoolini campus beginning in February 2023 as part of faculty exchange programme.
Dr. RP Dwivedi, Director of International Affairs, stated that the team was part of the International Faculty Development programme and said that we intend to increase international collaboration in the coming year.
Dr. Rozy Dhanta, Deputy Director-International Affairs, discloses that an academic delegation from Canada and Malaysia will visit Shoolini in the coming week.
Delegates who visited Shoolini University were Dr. Robert Martin, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Corporate Services (Leader of the delegation), Prof Tshilidzi Mulaudzi, Acting Executive Dean, Faculty of Health Sciences
