How to Garnish a Holiday Cocktail

Candy Cane Swirl Recipe
Ingredients:
- Vodka
- Cranberry juice
- Grenadine
- Peppermint schnapps
- Splash of Sprite or 7-Up
- Ice cubes
- Crushed candy canes or mini peppermint candy cane for garnish
Instructions
1. Dip the rim of the glass in water and then in the crushed candy canes.
2. Over ice, mix together vodka, grenadine, schnapps, and cranberry juice.
3. Add a splash of soda and a mini candy cane for garnish.
Recipe Notes
- To easily crush your peppermint candies or candy canes without making a huge mess, put them in a Ziploc bag and use a mallet or rolling pin to smash them.
- White creme de menthe can be substituted for the peppermint schnapps, but the flavor will be altered slightly.
