How to Draw a Dinosaur for Kids
- Draw the head of a Dinosaur.
Draw the horizontal oval in the middle of the paper—this will be the head.
- Draw the outline of the dinosaur’s torso.
The dinosaur will be tall, so make the body long.
- Draw the neck and upper leg.
The neck connects the head and torso of the dinosaur. To do this, draw vertical parallel lines. Draw a slightly elongated horizontal oval for the dinosaur’s thigh.
- Draw the arms and lower legs.
Draw 2 pairs of paws as shown in our Dinosaur drawing. Depict the lower part of the legs in the form of rectangles.
- Draw the feet and tail.
Draw two feet with 3 toes at the bottom of the Dinosaur’s legs. The tail is quite simple to draw. Draw the tail in the shape of a large triangle.
- Draw the face of the dinosaur.
Draw the eyes, eyebrows, and mouth with teeth as shown in our example.
- Color the drawing of the dinosaur.
Use green to color the dinosaur drawing. Shade the far legs in 2 layers to make a darker shade of green. This will give the drawing a realistic look.
