The Spot Recognition Award program is a way to acknowledge and reward outstanding individual and/or team workplace contributions that occur on a day-to-day basis. Anyone with a Berkeley Lab account can nominate a colleague, manager, and/or team for a Spot Award.
New designed certificate options are now available for the Spot Award program in AskUs. While the nomination process for a Spot Award is exactly the same, requesters must select one of three design options as this is a mandatory field. Once the selection is made and approved, HR assistants will be able to create PDFs and email them to the Spot Award recipients.
In addition to the new designs, we have made changes to the email notification sent to supervisors and division approvers so that the name of the nominated employee will be displayed in the subject line and email body. If the award is for a team, the division directors email will include the name of the team instead of the individual members.
