Aggregates are a critical component of a fit-for-purpose concrete mix. The properties of different aggregates mean they will result in very different attributes to the set product.
It is important to both the physical and aesthetic result that the right aggregate or aggregate mix is selected.
Aggregates are selected for a range of differing properties including:
- Wear resistance
- Slip resistance
- Shape
- Colour
- Sheen
