Building Strong Families Through Culture, Connection, and Care
Our Family Programs at iHuman are designed to foster positive connections between parents, caregivers, and their children. We focus on building healthy attachments and supporting child development through culturally specific programs and services. This program creates opportunities for parents and caregivers to learn and share traditional teachings, values, and language with their children, strengthening their bonds and cultural roots. We also prioritize self-care, stress management, and well-being by offering activities that promote personal growth and healing. Through ceremonies and other restorative practices, we provide a safe, supportive environment where young parents can access the essentials of life while nurturing their families.
Woven Journey
Through cultural and community connection our Woven journey program provides wrap-around services, tools and teachings that support a sense of belonging, caregiver capacity, development of identity, self-worth, and purpose. Woven Journey provides culturally appropriate skill building programming to Indigenous caregivers, children and families while acknowledging the impacts of intergenerational trauma and colonialism. Parents, caregivers, family, community members and Elders have the opportunity to share stories and connect with one another.
Our Caregiver Support Program at iHuman Youth Society is dedicated to empowering all caregivers who play a vital role in the lives of youth. This program provides a safe space for caregivers—whether family members, guardians, or mentors—to connect, learn, and grow. We offer resources that focus on building strong, supportive relationships while fostering resilience, cultural understanding, and personal well-being. Through workshops, traditional teachings, and self-care activities, we support caregivers in their journey to provide the guidance and stability that young people need to thrive.
