Five Nights at Freddy's 4: The Final Chapter Release Date Announced
Don't make plans this Halloween.
The last installment of Scott Cawthon’s point-and-click survival horror series, Five Nights at Freddy’s 4: The Final Chapter, is due to hit October 31.
The Halloween launch date reveal comes via the developer’s official website in the form of teaser image of iconic animatronic bear, Freddy Fazbear.
Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 snuck onto Steam for Windows PC last month. The game takes place 30 years after Freddy Fazbear's Pizza closed it's doors, according to the game’s description, with the events taking place there evolving into an urban myth.
Cawthon, who recently donated just under $250,000 to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, over the weekend, announced earlier this month that a Five Nights at Freddy’s film adaptation is on the way. The Warner Bros. production “taps into a largely unexplored niche of horror that a lot of people will be able to relate to," Cawthon said.
