Beautiful ringed planet!
By Mashable India
Saturn is famous for its beautiful rings, which have amazed astronomers and space fans for a long time. Some new studies say these rings will eventually disappear, but that's millions of years away. However, in 2025, it might look like the rings have disappeared due to an optical illusion, which will surprise people who want to take pictures of them.
Saturn is not straight up and down; it's tilted at about a 9-degree angle. By 2024, this tilt will reduce to about 3.7 degrees.
A year later, as Saturn moves away from Earth, its tilt will change, making its rings appear like a narrow horizontal line, parallel to Earth. This change will make the rings so thin that we won't be able to see them.
This occurrence will continue until 2032 when the lower side of the rings will become visible again
Saturn's rings are composed of many tiny pieces of ice and rock, and they come in different sizes, brightness levels, and materials, which together make a breathtaking and special sight in space.
Scientists are still arguing about how old Saturn's rings are, with some saying they might be relatively young (just tens of millions of years old) and others suggesting they could be incredibly old (billions of years old).
3. Saturn's rings are shaped by small moons that act like "ring shepherds," making sure the edges and gaps in the rings stay sharp and distinct.
4. Saturn's rings are always changing because they feel the pull of nearby moons and other cosmic forces.
As per NASA, Saturn's rings stretch out to around 282,000 kilometers away from the planet, but they're generally only about 30 feet tall in the seven main rings.
