Water studies in the scope of agriculture have adopted Internet of Things (IoT) to become a new b... more Water studies in the scope of agriculture have adopted Internet of Things (IoT) to become a new big data collection methodology. This research aimed to deliver a method in water quality categorization. The research methodology for this study used a combination of water quality parameter measurement with two integrated IoT water sensors (turbidity and TDS sensor) and manual categorization. Based on the water categorization standard, the measured turbidity and TDS were matched to one water category. In the sensor precision test, the integrated IoT water sensors showed 94.40% for the turbidity sensor and 97.95% for the TDS sensor. Compared to other water samples, drinking water was successfully distinguished with valid categorization. Other water samples namely groundwater, tea, and coffee showed invalid remarks.

The objective of this research is to determine organic matter content in soil using image process... more The objective of this research is to determine organic matter content in soil using image processing and artificial neural network. The images of soil were captured using digital camera and processed using image process algorithm. The images parameter data i.e. red, green, blue, hue, saturation, intensity, mean, entropy, energy, contrast, and homogeneity were extracted from sixty soil sample with different organic matter content. Parameter images data were used as the inputs data for ANN analysis. Output layer of ANN is organic matter content in soil. Based on experiment found that application of image processing and ANN for predicting organic matter content in soil have the high accuracy with coefficient determination of 90.75 % and mean square error (MSE) of 0.002762.

This research was conducted in July-September 2020 in Boalemo Regency. The number of respondents in the study was 54 farmers. Based on the study's results, it is known that agricultural machinery is very necessary. This is stated by 91% of respondents stating they always use agricultural machinery in their farming business. Agricultural machinery, hand tractors, power theresors, and combine harvesters are included in the high category that farmers often use with percentages of 9, 8.15%, 85.19%, and 72.22%. Salah satu upaya untuk tetap dapat menjamin kualitas dan kuantitas produksi perlu dilakukan pemetaan mengenai tata-letak dan luas kawasan salak pondoh. Pemetaan kawasan ini dilakukan dengan metode pengolahan citra ’quick bird’ dan sistem informasi geografis. Hasil pemetaan menunjukkan bahwa kawasan salak pondok di Kabupaten Sleman total 2.419.829 Ha, yang terdiri atas Kecamatan Tempel 672.574 Ha, Kecamatan Turi 1.560.891 Ha, dan Kecamatan Pakem 186.364 ha. Land quality and climate greatly affect the expected production of oil palm are: soil type, soil depth, altitude, soil pH, rainfall / year, average temperature, water deficit in mm / yr, air humidity, and solar radiation. Oil palm production as a function of land quality and climate can be predicted using various methods. Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is one recognized method for predict land productivity. In this study ANN Back propagation algorithm is used. The aim of this research is to develop ANN model and simulation of Oil Palm Plantation Productivity. Through the optimization procedure obtained the best ANN architecture is 11 neurons in input layer-3 neurons in the hidden layer and-1 neuron in the output layer, at 30,000 iterations of training step obtained the best model of oil palm productivity prediction with a value of R 2 : 0.98 and RMSE: 0:49, while from the test step obtains the value of R 2 : 0.94 and RMSE: 1.63. The results of simulation show that the simultaneous influence of several climatic changes that decrease the quantity of rainfall 100 mm / yr, 1 0 C temperature rise, and increasing water deficit 50 mm / yr reduce the productivity of oil palm plantations for 2.15 tons / ha / year. From this research can be concluded that ANN can be used to predict the production of palm oil based on quality of land and local climate with very good results.

Commerce is a trading activity that combines the flow of goods and services from the level of production to consumption. This study aims to determine the share margin received by each channel of the brown sugar commerce at Kulon Progo Regency. This research, which was conducted in May-July 2020, used a descriptive method. The method of determining the research location used the purposive sampling method. Determination of the number of informants is determined by the snowball method with a total of 60 informants. Methods of data analysis using cost analysis tools and marketing margins. The results showed that the marketing margin obtained at the farm level was Rp1.706/kg while the collectors were Rp4.375/kg. Product variations being developed are printed coconut sugar, wet neutral brown sugar, dry neutral brown sugar, and flavor variants.

The aim and objective of this study is to analyze the actual water footprint of oil palm based on root water uptake under varying crop age and soil type. The research was conducted in Pundu Village, Central Kalimantan. The methodology adopted in carrying out this study consists of various stages which includes observing soil moisture, rainfall, and water table, ETo, root water uptake and oil palm water footprint. The highest rate of water consumption was the 13 years oil palm on spodosol soil type with an average daily rate of 3.73 mm/day. The lowest evapotranspiration was represented by the 7th year oil palm on spodosol with an average rate of 3.07 mm/day. The total water footprint value obtained was between 0.56-1.14 m 3 /kg for a variety of plants with various age and soil types. It can be deduced that the water footprint value of oil palm vary for different crop age and soil types on temporal scale. The study also presented that the source of green water from the first root zone of oil palm deliver the highest contribution for oil palm root water uptake.

In verification stage the integrated model of ANN and GIS was used to evaluate land suitability of Wijayaarga Cocoa Plantation is seem accurate in predicting cocoa yield and easers to mapping the land suitability unit.
