Nothing announced that it will unveil the Phone (3a) series on March 4. The company co-founder Akis Evangelidis said that the (a) series focuses on the “core user needs in terms of camera, screen processor, and of course design.”
Not much is known about the Phone (3a) series, but rumour has it that Nothing’s upcoming mid-range series will have at least two models. As expected, we will see a Nothing Phone (3a), with speculations suggesting that the company might skip the ‘Plus’ model and instead go with the ‘Pro’ moniker.
The company also shared an image which hints that the Nothing Phone (3a) will retain the company’s signature transparent back panel with Glyph LED lights. Also, it looks like the Nothing Phone (3a) will have a horizontally aligned camera setup like its predecessor, but we may get three cameras instead of two.

The Nothing Phone (3a) may also have a slightly larger 6.8-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen with a FullHD+ resolution and house a 32MP selfie shooter. On the back, we may see a triple camera setup that consists of a 50MP primary shooter alongside a 50MP telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom, but Nothing may degrade the ultrawide camera to 8MP to keep the device affordable.
The Nothing Phone (3a) is rumoured to feature the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, which will be paired with either 8GB RAM and 128GB storage whereas the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro is said to be available in a single 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant.
The Phone (3a) and the Phone (3a) Pro are said to run on Nothing OS 3.1 based on Android 15 out of the box and pack a 5.000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. As for the pricing, the Nothing Phone (2a) was launched in India for Rs 23,999, which means the upcoming phone may also be priced in the under Rs 25,000 price bracket.
