Mt. Hood & The Columbia River Gorge
In 2023, visitors spent $491 million in the Mt. Hood and the Columbia River Gorge Region which led to the direct employment of 5,800 locals.
Home of the towering volcanic peak of Mt. Hood and the stunning Columbia River Gorge, this region is a haven for outdoor recreation and agritourism. Within these boundaries you’ll find no end of delights. Hiking and biking trails weave in and around the woods, with the reward in the journey as much as the viewpoint. The valleys are peppered with farms and orchards, and the table set with seasonal ingredients and craft drinks. Sometimes all the wonder can’t be put into words; it’s best to experience the region for yourself.
