Now, the board will spin. Each circle will turn one tile in the direction of the arrows. You must turn the circles from the centre outwards.

Plan your movement cards and special cards, and make sure they’re hidden behind your ticket holder. But remember, moving onto a tile of the same colour as your playing token doesn’t cost you a movement ticket.

Move your playing token, but remember, you can only fall down onto a tile of the same colour as your playing token. Players take their turn in a clockwise direction.

Each coloured arrow tile must be positioned in line (when viewed from above). When moving from the centre outwards, the tile sitting directly below the yellow arrow tile, must be the next yellow arrow tile. The coloured arrow tiles should be positioned in line with their opposite coloured starting tile. The yellow arrow tiles should be in line with the pink start tile.

Once the layers have been moved, the board should look like this. Each layer of the board is moved one tile in the direction of the arrows, from the centre outwards.

phase one

PLAYERS CARRY OUT THIS PHASE AT THE SAME TIME

At the beginning of the game, each player places their game token onto the corresponding coloured starting tile in the centre of the carousel.

Players then pick five cards from the movement deck.

1

And two cards from the special deck.

You may play up to 3 movement tickets and one special card (if you wish) per turn.

Your tickets are played out from left to right. Your special card is played during your movement turn.

Each time phase one begins, all players are given 5 movement tickets and 2 special tickets.

phase two

spin the carousel!

Now, the board will spin. Each circle will turn one tile in the direction of the arrows. You must turn the circles from the centre outwards.

phase three

Each player now takes their turn in moving their playing token. During your turn, you must carry out all of your planned movement tickets.

Moving the gamepieces

Remember, it doesn’t cost a movement ticket to fall down or move onto a tile that corresponds with the colour of your playing token.

If you fall down onto a tile in the middle of completing your planned movement tickets, you may continue moving until you’ve gone through all of your tickets. You can’t fall two levels down the carousel in one turn.

You cannot step down onto a tile with an arrow.

special cards

what do they do?

Put on a coloured wig, and change your player token color for one round. Tip - Play this card when you have no other opportunity to move down the carousel.

No one wants to step in vomit, not even carousel animals. Place a vomit token anywhere on the board, to ensure no one can step onto that tile.

The player decides which coloured wig they would like to wear. The colour of your wig determines the colour of your playing token for this round.

Place your vomit token onto the board to interfere with another players planned movement tickets, and to prevent them from reaching a certain tile.

Yuck! You’ve made a mess of your sticky cotton candy and it’s all over your hands. Your sticky hands allow you to hold onto an extra movement ticket - you can play four movement tickets this round!

You found a colored crayon! Use it to colour any tile on the board. Tip - Play this card when you do not have the right colored movement tickets to carry out your movement.

The Cotton Candy card allows you to move four times in one turn, instead of three. Use this card when you have the perfect movement sequence which requires you to move four tiles ahead.

A player can place a crayon on any tile at the beginning of their turn - this changes the colour of the tile to the colour of the crayon. This token then stays on the board throughout the rest of the game.

game tips

The first player changes at the beginning of each round; the player to the left of the previous first player plays first in the following round. Players take their turn in a clockwise direction.

Remember, when the game begins place your playing token on the corresponding coloured ‘start’ tile.

to help you along the way

If you land on the same tile as another player, nothing happens. You are both able to stand on the same tile at one time.

All players plan their movement tickets at the same time.

You are free to move your token both left and right.

The arrow tiles are there to show you the direction the board will move.

You cannot step down onto a tile with an arrow.

However, you can pass an arrow if you are moving left or right.
