It’s hard to believe, but the Volk Racing TE37V is at least a decade old. The wheel was developed by Rays to merge the iconic TE37 6-spoke with fitments for old school cars with smaller diameters and low offsets. To honor 10 years of the TE37V, Rays is offering the appropriately named Volk Racing TE37V 10th Anniversary Edition, featuring new finishes and colors.
The TE37V 10th Anniversary Edition comes in either Bronze or, for the first time, Dash White. Instead of spoke decals, the Volk Racing and Rays Engineering logos are now machined into the spoke using the company’s patented engraving method. Sizes range from 15-inch (which come in 7J to 9J widths) to 18-inch diameters (which come in 9.5J to 12J widths).
Interestingly, the promotional video was filmed not in Japan but in Los Angeles on and below the newly built 6th Street Bridge (Okay, it was finished in 2022, but if you knew how many years it was under construction you would agree it was only recently completed). The starring Hako Skyline is owned by LAPD Detective and friend of JNC Rick Ishitani and would look absolutely wicked with a magnetic rooftop beacon. The TE37V 10th Anniversary Edition should go on sale this month.

What’s the price and availability here?
I think the best thing about this wheel is the engraved identity on the spoke! Let the replica companies try and pass off their fake Volk spoke stickers as genuine now! (Nothing against reps, per se…. I just laugh when someone – mfgr or buyer – tries so hard to pull off the ruse that they’re the real thing.)
Wait a minute…I was seeing the TE37V in catalogs back in 2010. Did I miss something?
Yeah, you’re right. I even missed the date on the link to our own post on its original release.

It’s right there, 2010. This is almost in time for the 15th anniversary. I feel super old.
Eh, don’t feel too bad. I only knew because I had saved a picture from the 2010 catalog: my ultimate Miata muse, the D-Technique TD1001R, which was wearing a set of TE37Vs
