Camping

Well its has been months since we went on this campout...I got busy and never finished posting about it. I had a few minutes to sit and decided that I should update my blog!
Back in May we went camping with the Johnson's...friends of ours here in Fernley. We had a great time! Hopefully we can fit in one more campout before it starts to get cold again.

The kids decided that it would be fun to make a swimming pool in the sand. They spent half the day working on it...and having so much fun doing it!

The last day, while we were cleaning up camp the kids decided to dig yet another hole! This time they wanted it deep enough to trap a animal in!

I am not sure about a animal...but Ian fits!

Future Scuba Diver

We went camping with friends for Memorial weekend. Colter was so hyper when we got there! He was loving every minute of being out doors! He was surprisingly very good about staying out of the water...which I was very grateful for because we camped on the river.

The morning after we got there, he got a hold of this gear and insisted on wearing it all! It was so cute that I had to get some pictures!

Riding Lessons

At the end of April we went to visit Jimmy's parents in Utah. While we were there Grandpa Jorgensen got Sugar-Pete out and gave the kids a quick riding lesson. They loved it! They now want to move to the country and get some horses.

Colter wasn't to sure about riding Sugar...he was fascinated with Sugar as long as he was on the ground.

Wrestling Match!

The kids (and Jimmy) got into a wrestling match when the Johnson's were over for dinner. Colter was hilarious trying to wrestle with them!

Egg Hunt!

The Johnson family came over on Easter to share dinner with us and have a Easter Egg hunt. It was really nice to have people over for the evening! It would have been a sad Holiday without family or close friends! The kids had a great time and got way to much candy!

We had a small Easter Egg Hunt at the church about a week before this one and I was surprised that Colter understood what to do without any explanations. Usually at this age it takes them a few minutes to understand what to do...but that was not the case with Colt this year. He took off running the minute we said go! Needless to say he was very excited to get to hunt for eggs again!
