This blog has been pretty dead cause my laptop is super fucked to the point it’s not worth it to try to update sims anymore (I have to sit by the router with a 2 foot long ethernet cable while my laptop screams for mercy)
Basically i won’t be returning to playing sims until I get a new laptop which just isn’t going to happen any time soon.
Normally I look for pride cc and share it (even if I don’t use it cause I normally only reblog content I actually download) but it just slipped my mind this year, so feel free to share with me some of your favs from this year!
Would you want me to share CC posts anyway even if I’m not going to be able to use them? I feel weird about endorsing something I can’t test but if you want content I still follow CC blogs and still “cc shop” by saving links and drafting posts even though I don’t know when I’ll ever be able to use them
I usually try to keep my mouth shut about stuff like this, bc personally it’s whatever to me, but the CC tags are for CC, not for if you used CC. This isn’t Reddit, we ain’t gonna jump you bc you’re “catfishing” us by failing to mention immediately that you’re using cc, almost everyone on simblr uses cc, this is a safe space.
To clarify: unless it’s got a link to a download for CC, primarily your own cc try not to clutter the cc tags with things like gameplay posts, CAS pics, etc. The TS4 tag trends just as much as the TS4CC tag, if not more bc it’s usually the most commonly used one around here. You’re actually more likely to piss someone off by using a cc tag, or even blocked if it’s for a post that isn’t specifically for sharing and/or distributing custom content. Pls respect and support CC creators, especially small CC creators who use these tags to be seen, by keeping this space specifically for them, and also just making it easier for you and ccfinds blogs who follow them to download and boost CC posts you or others might’ve missed.
Your sim’s pretty face will do just fine without them, I promise. 💕
I needed a few little things to add up to my castle building experience, so here we are:
A one tile castle wall. Somehow the original gets very stretched out on round rooms, and since it’s a multi panel wall it’s not always seamless. So, 18 swatches, I tried to match the gradient walls as much as possible and the “fairytale” swatch was a pain in the *ss, I did my best.
Two platforms, one trimmed and one plain, basically to be able to make towers a bit higher, but possibilities are endless. 13 swatches (all the originals minus the gradients).
Two exterior trims, the one in the kit is lovely, but I wanted something more plain for more variety, also 13 swatches.
Aaand a half-wall trim, sorry I had to make 13 separate trims instead of swatches, but that’s how half-wall trims are (and man they’re weirdly mapped!).
(Actually I’m thinking there’s maybe a way to put all the half-wall trims in one file, hmm, I’ll try and if yes will update)
The Poison Garden - A Romantic Gardens pack recolour
Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! 🥀
Today seemed like the perfect day to reveal this recolour set, which includes an array of natural, jewel and muted colours. These will look especially good in gothic and fantasy themed builds, but I’ve tried to include a versatile range of shades.
Nearly every item in the pack has been recoloured (with the exception of the roses which I have previously done, available here). I have not done any of the cas items.
A simple mesh edit (which still took me 2 days to finish, ‘cause ughh edge splitting) which gives the Goth Galore Strap Boots a bigger platform and chunkier look. The original 12 swatches were poking my OCD so I added 3 more to make a third full row of swatches lol.
When I got to test the new pack curiosity of The EA Creator Network, the buymode objects were a little sparse. The pack is more gameplay focussed so it’s understandable why it is the way it is, but I decided to add more to make it a bit easier to decorate rooms in the stuff pack’s style. And here it is.
