I have a high ELL population in my class room, so we were learning what "April Showers" meant, and I decided to try the crayon melting craze in Kindergarten. Hot glue your old crayons across the top of the construction paper. Use a hairdryer and have students hold a cup in the middle of the paper so that when the wax runs down it creates the umbrella effect.
