Atif Ali is a practicing artist and calligrapher with portfolio including both classic calligraphy and painting. Atif Ali received his training from Ustaad Abdul Rauf and has proficiency in Jali Diwani Kufi, Nastaliq Lahori, Nastaliq Dehalvi.
Atif believes in the timeless relationship between art and spirituality and that is manifest in his body of work. Atif has to his credit many national and international shows including a solo. His work in Quranic texts has earned him tremendous appreciation and acclaim.
Atif Ali also serves as the Deputy Director in the Culture Department, Sindh and has previously served as the curator of the Sadequain Art Gallery, Frere Hall where he curated exhibitions on calligraphy.
