Connecting your Google Workspace account to your easyDNS domain name will first require that you prove ownership over the domain. This is done by entering a DNS record under your DNS settings page. Note that the verification record Google provides is typically a TXT Record but you can choose alternative methods such as a CNAME or MX Record. The steps below will apply to all record types but you will need to ensure that you are entering them in the correct fields. For example, a TXT Record verification will be entered under TXT Record field and a CNAME Record will be entered under CNAME Record field.
The following article and video will cover how you can obtain your verification record through your Google Workspace account:
Once you’ve obtained your TXT verification record you will need to ensure that easyDNS is the DNS provider for your domain name. You can do this by checking to see if your domain is delegated to easyDNS servers through the WHOIS portal.
If your domain is delegated to easyDNS servers then you can move on to the next step. If your domain is not delegated to easyDNS servers then you will need to go to your current DNS provider to enter your verification record.
