Monbulk Primary School
Monbulk Primary School has a significant history (established 1887) and presence within the Monbulk region, characterised by long-standing community connections that are multi-generational and proud of its unique context.
Kosloff Architecture developed a masterplan for the school that sought to reflect their pedagogical approach of discrete learning neighbourhoods, woven together by a variety of landscape spaces, including kitchen gardens, competition outdoor courts, outdoor teaching, and nature play.
Two new buildings were delivered following the masterplan including, a senior teaching and learning facility complete with food technology spaces, and a new administration building that created a new entry to the school. The existing heritage building was also repurposed to create junior learning and a new library.
