Mazda recently debuted a diesel version of the famed "SKYACTIV-D" engine, after earlier announcing the availability of six-cylinder engines in its new rear-wheel-drive models.
This Mazda engine has the following high specifications to offer the highest performance:
- Capacity: 3.3 L
- Power: 228 hp
- Torque: 500 N / M
- Paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission
Mazda has previously said that another hybrid version will be available, raising the car's power to 251 horsepower and torque to 550 N/M.
Mazda announced that the new engine version will be available in the next version of the CX-60 SUV, which was recently unveiled, and it is also worth noting that Mazda will offer a PHEV version of its famous car CX-60, which is available with a four-cylinder gasoline engine and an electric battery, producing a total power of 323 hp and 500 Nm of torque.
Mazda also revealed that it will offer the CX- 60 in the United States in a bigger version known as the CX-70, alongside the brand's newly announced CX-80 SUV, which features three rows of seats and rear-wheel drive.
