    In Alan Wake 2 Location maps make it much easier to navigate the area and find collectibles in the game. For this reason, the sooner you can find them, the easier it will be for you to explore the levels. In this guide, we will not only show the location of all the maps, but also show you how to unlock most of the markers on them that indicate the location of valuable objects.

    Note that you will have to play for two protagonists: Alan and Saga. Each of them will have to visit different locations with their own maps. Therefore, we decided to divide the guide into two parts.

    All location maps for the Saga

    Cauldron Lake Map

    You can find it during the passage "Returns 1: The Invitation". When you get out of the car, your partner will offer to find a sheriff's deputy, who should be waiting for you nearby. At the same time, he will approach the large board on which the map of the area is located - just interact with it. Now you can use it at any time by simply pressing the “M” key.

    Bright Falls Map

    Having thoroughly examined the murder scene all in the same chapter "Return 1: The Invitation", you decide to go to the city to perform an autopsy on the deceased. Once you reach Bright Falls, run forward along the main street towards the Dear Deer Diner. However, do not go into it - instead, turn left to its wall, on which you will find a map.

    Note: Note that a map of the town can also be found in the cafe itself (back rooms), next to the entrance to the Sheriff's Office and on the notice board near the pier, in front of two people dressed as coffee cans. You can study any of them.

    After speaking with Sheriff Tim Breaker, enter the diner and chat with the witnesses. Then get out of it and follow the cop to the city police station, the location of which is shown in the pictures below.

    Upon entering the building, do not rush to follow your partner - instead, go into the semi-open room opposite the entrance and interact with the map hanging on the wall under the clock.

    Wateree Map

    Returning to Bright Falls with Alan, Saga decides to go to Wateree to find the Nutcracker. After arriving in town, the chapter starts "The Return 3: Local". When you regain control of the heroine, turn the camera to the right and you will see the entrance to the Suomi Hall bar. Go inside and immediately turn the camera to the left, and then interact with the map.

    Go to the Mansion, located in the western part of the town, and go inside the building. Then immediately turn right into the administrator's office, and turn left - you will notice a map hanging on the wall.

    As you continue to explore Valhalla Nursing Home, you can visit the Wellness Center, the entrance to which is shown in the pictures below. Once inside through the first sliding doors, immediately turn left and you will see the map you need on the notice board.

    All marks on the maps for the Saga

    If you want all the collectibles and points of interest to appear on your Anderson Saga maps, you will need to obtain and wear the Mayor Sutter Charm on your bracelet. To do this, you need to find 6 election tables in different parts of the world. We talked about where to find them in separate material.

    Note: This may be a bug, but in our case only marks appeared on the map lunch boxes And nursery rhymes. Perhaps in future patches this pendant will begin to show the location of all objects on the map.

    Talk show studio map

    When playing through the first chapter as Alan Wake called "Initiation 1: Deep of Night" you will find yourself in a television studio. Once you get there a second time, you can explore it more thoroughly. Get to the cafeteria, where the janitor's room with Ahti is located, and then look into the corridor on the right side and next to the double door on the wall you will find a map.

    Dark Abode Map

    Starting the chapter "Initiation 2: Casey", you can get out of the television studio and into the dark streets of New York. Almost immediately the payphone on the opposite side of the street will ring. Chat with the strange man, and then walk forward a little and you will see a map on the notice board.

    If you missed this map, you can find another one near the entrance to the metro station. Go further east to the second flashing lamppost and in front of the stairs you will see the item you need.

    All marks for the Dark Abode map

    If you want symbols to appear on your maps indicating the approximate location of supplies and words of power, then you will need to find Sheriff Tim Breaker and examine the notes he made.

    In the Dark Abode, you can find a policeman on the roofs of buildings in the eastern part of Caldera Street. Its exact location is shown in the screenshots above. Note that the circles show the location of the words of power, and the squares show the boxes with consumables.

    Having finally walked to the metro station within "Initiations 2: Casey", you will need to use the "Missing FBI Agent" plot element and then start walking left along the tracks until you see the break room entrance on the right side. However, do not enter it, as you can find the map you need to the left of the door.

    After using the lamp to transmit light, go downstairs and turn into the room on the right to find the sheriff again (you will hear him singing from afar). Interact with his map to make symbols appear.

    You can find the sheriff again in "Initiations 5: Number 665", when you can’t get into the Oceanview Hotel through the front entrance and go up to the roofs of the Dark Abode near the Alley. The entrance to the room with Tim is to the right of the stairs - the exact location is shown in the pictures below.

    Oceanview Hotel Map

    In "Initiations 5: Number 665" you can get to the inn through the rooftops in the Dark Abode. Once inside, walk forward a little and look at the next vision. Then enter the door on the left and turn right - you will notice a map of the hotel on the wall next to the computer.

    The sheriff can be found in room 209. To unlock the door to this apartment, you will need to find the key located in room 206.

    Poets Cinema Map

    In "Initiations 8: Zane's Film" you can get to the cinema, the entrance to which is in the southeast corner of the Dark Abode, opposite the car wash. Once in the Foyer, go around the reception desk and enter the open passage, then turn around sharply and you will see a map on the wall.

    Climb to the roof of the cinema, where there are red spotlights, and then go past the yellow-lit glass roof and turn left near the blue door. Once down, make a sharp turn to the left and go under the metal platform.

    Turn left again, go up the stairs and enter the room. Here you will find a sheriff and another map with marks.
